House holiday rentals in Kentwood

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying with Harriet. It is an amazing place located in a great spot to get to the beaches, restaurants and fun things to do in town. Communication with Harriet was easy and she was very quick to respond the couple of times we communicated with her. We highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to find another excuse to stay again!

My family and I loved staying here! The pool was perfect and we used it every single day and the space was ideal for us - my 4 year old especially loved the games (first timer playing Sorry) and PAC Man along with the nature / fire pit (and pool of course). It was very close to downtown Saugatuck and the host was super responsive. Our dog was also very relaxed in this location as it was quiet and peaceful and he is getting older. Thanks for the great stay and we can’t wait to come back’

Jennifer’s home was absolutely amazing—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared in every way. It was the perfect place for our family getaway. The kids had an incredible time and are still talking about all the fun they had. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend staying here—thank you, Jennifer, for being such a wonderful host!

We had an amazing stay at the Green Oasis. The house was lovely and would be perfect for two families staying together as there are two separate ‘wings’ off the main entrance. The one side was more than enough room for the three of us. Rooms were very comfortable and we felt right at home. The backyard pool is the star of the show as we spent a lot of time in the private space out back. Having it heated and covered is an added plus. Chris was excellent communicating with us throughout the stay. We definitely are looking forward to our next trip to this beautiful home.

The location of this house is in a private quiet setting but close to so many things. The kids loved looking out the front window and seeing the horses right across the street. The house was very clean and exactly how it was described, nicely decorated without over doing it. We utilized every part of the large property for volleyball, football, cooking out and eating at the picnic table, bonfires for making smores and picking wild flowers. The pool and hot tub was very clean and nice. The bedrooms are large and perfectly accommodated our family of 10 with 2 littles in pack n plays. There were plenty of items provided to make our stay easy, dishes, cookware, pool towels, board games, and pool items. Brandon was a great host and extremely responsive before and during our stay. When we had a question about the air conditioner on our first night, he responded within 10 minutes and then sent someone out to handle it. I would highly recommend Brandon and this house for a family get away.

Our group had a great time together! The space was clean and hospitable. It offered nice spaces to spend time together!

We just left mikes place and are already planning when we can go back! We did a girls weekend in south haven and the backyard and pool area were immaculate. It was sunny and 90+ degrees all weekend so we did not leave the pool! It was wonderful, clean, and peaceful. Definitely coming back as soon as we can for another girls weekend!

Our family of 4 adults and two children enjoyed our stay. Very clean for our 1 yo and fun to see little bunny in the yard for our 3 yo. Easy to get to everywhere. Room for all. Safe and secure.

I stayed Thurs–Sun and couldn’t have asked for a better solo retreat. I run a wellness business and needed a change of scenery to rest, reflect, and reset. This space delivered all that and more. The home is spotless, everything thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is fully stocked with a separate pantry, which made it easy to cook all my meals. The soaring ceilings, sliding glass doors, and screened patio created the perfect indoor-outdoor vibe. I never even went to the beach, between the peaceful yard, woodland trail, and hot tub, I didn’t want to leave. My dog loved it too. Johnny and Michelle were responsive and kind, quick to help with a Wi-Fi question, then gave me space to unwind. Favorite moments: morning runs on Lake Shore Dr, sunset cocktail walks to Sundown Park, chill music on the Bluetooth speaker, and lunch at Penny Royal (the veggie sando = 10/10). If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated stay that feels like a proper reset, this is it. I’ll be back with friends!!

Jordan’s place is clean and nice! If I have a chance in the future to go to GR, I will definitely stay there again.

We loved our time here! Beautiful, peaceful area. Cottage was comfortable and perfect for our family! Fishing off the dock, swimming, grilling and time spent with family were the highlights!

Hailey's place was great for our weekend trip to GR! It's in a neighborhood about a 10 minute drive from downtown but easy to drive to anywhere you'd want to visit. The house was cozy and the basement was perfect for game nights, movie nights, etc. We had some trouble getting the keurig coffee maker to work but that was truly the only issue we had the entire stay. Hailey was one of the most proactive and responsive hosts I've ever had. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

Located in a residential neighborhood but close to lots of places of interest, neighborhood was fairly quiet, garage and house smelled and looked clean. We stayed one night and didn’t need showers but there were some towels that we saw along with necessities. Kitchen wasn’t used except for making coffee and using a couple spoons but stocked. Beds were comfortable and with the couches and chairs. Would stay again. Thankfully one bedroom was on the main level so those more mobile were able to take the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms to accommodate. Spacious for the amount of people we had (6 adult sized people) and didn’t feel squished. Wished we had time to use the games in the garage. The front entryway was nicely decorated out front, made it welcoming. Lightly decorated inside which is what I prefer.

Nicole’s place was beautiful! Accommodating space, open areas, and beautiful decor! I truly felt at home and will be back!

Jennifer's place was exactly as the pictures displayed. The place is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Grand Rapids. The house is big enough fora big family. The kitchen was also well stocked to prepare meals.

We loved this place, had everything we needed and was set up great…awesome outdoor space as well! We really enjoyed being able to go across the street to the farmers market on Saturday to pick up food for the house or grab a bite from the food trucks. Also super quick and easy to get a ride to the heart of town. Will definitely try to stay again if possible!

we had a mom's weekend away, it was absolutely perfect. we all commented how much we loved the house, all the little extras they had to make it so cozy. beds were great, hot tub was amazing. my only suggestion would be to put room darkening curtains in all the bedrooms. I slept in the master and was up early since they were sheer curtains. but it wasn't enough to make me think twice about staying again. we plan to book this spot for our annual weekend away next year ❤️

really loved the space, very comfortable and intentional. Jessica had a well stocked kitchen. it was thoughfully decorated and lots of towels and wash cloths which was really nice for our week stay. we LOVED the location. we walked to town numerous times a day, and that was my favorite part. location, location, location. if you're coming to Rockford and want a great spot, this is it.

We were thrilled to back for a second year at the Gove Schoolhouse! Our teachers found respite in the idyllic setting as we ended another school year and began planning for the next. Thank you for providing such a beautiful, well appointed space for us to rest and recharge! We will be back next year.
