Monthly Rentals in King Sterndale

We had a wonderful stay at Shelley and Jon’s barn. The location is absolutely breathtaking, peaceful and rural. It’s the perfect escape from the city, yet still just a short drive from the local town for shops and essentials. The barn itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt like a real home away from home. It was the ideal base for exploring nearby walking trails and soaking in the natural beauty of the area. Shelley and Jon were fantastic hosts very friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

We had a lovely stay at Soozey's. I would highly recommend it. Everything was clean, comfortable and quiet. We were able to park right in front of the house and walk everywhere. There are plenty of sights to see and really good restaurants all within walking distance. I will definitely book a stay here again if I am traveling to this part of England.

I visited chee dale lodge with my partner and our young Labrador, and we had a lovely week long stay. The lodge is comfortable and well-equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, and fridge freezer. There were plenty of pots and pans, and salt and pepper to cook with, but no oil (I'd recommend bringing your own). For the dog, there was a good sized grass area, with a bin, a short distance from our doorstep. There is lots of nature to enjoy in the local area. In particular, we enjoyed visiting Luds church, three shires head, and the monsal trail. This was a great base, with most places we wanted to visit being 20 mins away or less. Highly recommend!
