Brenda"s attention to detail was beyond amazing. She thought of the little things that I would have never missed, if she hadn't thought of them. A pre-stocked coffee and pancake bar are just two examples. The beds were absolutely perfect for my wife and I, with the feel of the luxury bedding found in a high end cruise ship suite. The cabins are conveniently located whether your look for a hideaway weekend, attending a race at Bristol. Close to downtown Elizabethton, TN, that has a main street with old timey, but artsy vibe. I highly recommend Monarch Mountain Cabins to anyone looking for the perfect, secluded getaway.

If you are looking for a quiet, well-equipped location where there is room for everyone, you’ve found your place. While a little quirky, the layout has all sorts of nooks & crannies for you to enjoy… multiple porches, multiple fireplaces, multiple seating arrangements. The views are just beautiful & the house is cozy & well-equipped. We were a family group of all adults in for graduation at App State. I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the house more. Ann was a great communicator & we would definitely purely stay here again. There are a lot of steps involved to enjoy everything but also many options on the main floor of the house if you have mobility issues (we had older grandparents in our party and no young children). Ann’s notes about local shops & restaurants were detailed & helpful. Great stay!

Eagles peak was a comfortable place to stay near the Sugar Hollow wedding that we came to attend. The living room was great, kitchen was full of pans, etc with coffee maker, ice maker, lots of storage. We appreciated the basket of cooking spices. Several of our party enjoyed the hot tub and the extensive deck was great! Lots of places to sit - sun, shade, rocking chair, picnic table. We saw a doe and baby deer from the deck, lots of birds on the wire and flitting around the bushes. A couple people went to the nearby winery and mercantile, they were able to pick up a few necessities there without driving far. We had dinner in Boone one evening, not too far, (the other dinners were at the wedding venue). Julie was quick to respond to questions and had excellent suggestions of places to visit and eat. It was a wonderful family gathering.

My husband and I stayed a weekend at this beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains—right beside a babbling stream—and honestly, our stay was nothing short of magical. The cabin exceeded our expectations—photos don’t compare to its real-life charm. It’s the perfect place to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature—highly recommended for a peaceful, rejuvenating escape.

We had a great stay at William's place. it was clean, peaceful and we felt right at home. The grill and hot tub made it a great place to relax, unwind, and cook out after a day out. Would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful, peaceful environment to stay in! We loved the well-documented history of this house, as well the unique layout and feel of the home! It is surrounded by the amazing beauty and serenity of the surrounding property! Sitting on the front porch and back patio areas any time of day was so relaxing! The neighboring roads running along the beautiful river were also a great place to walk and bike. The house is in good proximity to a great variety of parks and recreational areas, as well as nearby towns and cities for dining or shopping. The kitchen is very well stocked for helping with food prep and meals. The owners and hosts were so welcoming and accommodating to us with personal touches and communication before and during our stay. They made us feel very comfortable and attended to, yet still free to enjoy our space and time. We would definitely consider returning to stay here in future and would highly recommend it to others visiting the area.

We had a great stay! The location felt private even being so close to downtown banner elk. Had a good variety of restaurants and things to do within a short drive and close to a lot of hiking we had planned for the weekend! Overall great spot

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was spotless and the perfect base to explore the mountains of East TN. The property was peaceful, relaxing, and had all of the amenities you could think of. We certainly would recommend to anyone!

My fiancée and I absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. One of the best parts was being right by the Clinch River—we spent hours kayaking and soaking in the natural beauty. Every moment felt special. We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to come back!

Christie and Donaven were super responsive and accommodating - they also checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay. We loved the space! Cute and cozy. The bedroom area was quiet and dark at night. We also appreciated that the kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals. We hope to visit again soon!

Our second trip to this home and it is very enjoyable, peaceful, and beautiful. It rained a lot while we were there but that didn’t damper our visit. Watching the different animals appear in the pasture across the road was one of the highlights. Thanks again and we hope to be back soon

Thank you for sharing info your beautiful home with my family. We take lovely memories with us. My little boy has never seen snow and has been asking for years that he wants to see and play with snow. God is great He gave us snow our last night and our little boy played for hours on the deck building a snowman. We had a lot of fun and would love to be back during summer so he can fish some more. My second stay here, and it was great just like the first. It's a well maintained cabin with beautiful views and a great location if you like to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and sit by a river. My wife and I so enjoyed the peace and quiet this property delivers. We'll be back!
