The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. The area is ideal for hiking, biking or relaxing in nature. The apartment is part of a small farm (Icelandic horses and sheep) about 4km outside of Gersbach in the south of the Black Forest. Charming private room in a farmhouse

Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

Welcome to Albtal Menzenschwand! Here you can hike, swim, ski, enjoy stars, visit World Heritage Sites or make campfires and relax in the award-winning Revitalbad. The Rehbachhaus is surrounded by the slopes of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park on the edge of a small village below the Feldberg. Stylishly renovated, it overlooks meadows and mountains. The resort for nature lovers is located in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Above the cloud sea of the Rhine plain stands our beautiful forest house. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30min. To Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg 45 minutes. Attention: Schweigmatt swimming pool only for club members.

The farm is known for its sheep milk production, so you have the opportunity to watch the farmers milk the sheep.

Silva-Nigra-Chalet for 4 by the pond

The Hierholzer Weiher is a habitat for dragonflies, water insects, spawning place of numerous frogs and summer meeting place for locals and their guests. The chalet/wooden house with large roof overhang, conservatory and balcony towards the pond provides 65m² in 3.5 rooms. The property with 1000m² of west slope is sunny. There is an alpine view towards the south.

Favorite retreat:-) "Our Alpine view" in Todtmoos is a little gem for us - whether with children or alone, in spring, summer, autumn or winter, we always have a wonderful, relaxing time here. We want to share this and want our guests to do the same. ... at the moment we are looking forward to clear, sunny and warm autumn days - the best hiking weather!
