This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They're in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

It is located in a small-scale nature park where peace and nature are central. Enjoy birds and squirrels in the garden or explore the area. Within walking distance is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Netherlands, perfect for golf enthusiasts who want to play in a beautiful, green environment.

We are happy to welcome you to the beautiful Sterrebosch Estate in the newly built in the barn. It includes 6 double rooms (21 m2) with private bathrooms. From here there are many options, such as walking/cycling along the IJssel, a day trip to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Deventer, sauna Thermen Bussloo, Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn or to the Veluwe. Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

De Veluwe en de IJssel zijn goed te bezoeken, maar steden als Zutphen en Zwolle zijn ook goed bereikbaar. Je mag de auto(‘s) bij het woonhuis parkeren. We bieden geen ontbijtservice. Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.
