Proximity to excellent fishing waters, mountains, berry and mushroom forests. In the neighboring village of Laxsjö, there is a grocery store that is praised for its nice service and selection. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in Västerkälen outside Krokom. The house is out in the countryside without neighbors, except for the residential house. Close to the mountains, fishing and berry picking. About 1 hour by car to the magical mountain world in summer and winter, about 25 minutes by car to central Östersund with a large selection of restaurants and other pleasures. Large and nice sauna is available in the yard, we charge a fee for it, which is paid in advance. Pets are allowed, but not cats due to allergies.

Light a fire in the lovely fireplace and set up a fun game. The surroundings offer skis both downhill and length, hiking and snowmobile opportunities. Only 5 km away you will find Almåsa and Änge cross-country tracks. Several different hiking trails with wonderful views as well as bird towers are nearby.

On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.
