Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kutchan, Abuta District

We stayed 6 nights with our family of 5 and would absolutely return. The house itself was exactly as described. it was a wonderful space for relaxing, cooking, reading (so many kids books!!), and enjoying the beauty of the area. Elise in particular is among the best hosts we've met. She welcomed us with some local goodies, gave excellent recommendations, and even went so far as to bring diapers when we ran out and could not find any at the stores we checked. Thanks again for everything!

An excellent host and a lovely stay.

it was a really comfortable stay. For 6 of us there were 4 tatamis and 2 beds. Towels and toiletries provided were nicely organised into 6 baskets as well including bath bombs which we enjoyed. Facilities and other small items provided in the house were well thought through - including cables for electronic devices, hairdryer, facial wash and even toner, scissors, utensils... we had everything we needed and more. Location is an easy drive to Lake Toya along a nice scenic coastal route, whole there were many fruit farms to see on the other side.

A simply stunning stay at Lake Toya. Cozily reposing in the beautifully appointed living room, watching the gentle spring sun slowly rise over the lake and sipping a fresh coffee from the provided hipster pour-over setup - does life get any better than this? Sachi has a crafted a simply stunning Airbnb with a gorgeous view over Lake Toya. Beautiful natural surrounds invoke a feeling of tranquility that is all too rare in this modern world. The location is walkable to the lake and all the best food & coffee the area has to offer, and is an easy drive to Rusutsu resort for incredible skiing in the winter. This place has it all. We had a joyous stay. The hosts are friendly, informative, responsive and their passion for the project is evident in their attention to detail. 10/10 would stay again in a hearbeat. Missing it already.

Our stay at Aki's house was great. The house was warm, clean, and spacious, and it was in a quiet area. While staying with a big family, we felt very comfortable because of the rooms and layout of the bathroom facilities. A highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the town and mountains. We could explore the surroundings easily. Our family loved the local sushi train restaurant with delicious meals and excellent service. The nearest supermarket was 5 minutes walk. Skiing slopes are just 35 minutes away. The bus stop is a 12-minute walk, where the bus can take you directly to the centre of Sapporo or the closest town of Otaru. Aki helped us with many things. She organised transfers and also recommended good places to eat. We are grateful to Aki for such excellent hospitality and prompt responses during our stay. Thank you very much for everything.

The accomodation was wonderful and kept in a great condition! The hosts were very responsive to messages and questions during my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone to stay in as it’s close to restaurants and the slopes. 10/10

Great homestay, walkable distance from Yoichi Station, thanks to that we can leave our car there and enjoyed a wine pairing dinner. Beautiful interior and spotlessly clean. The stair a bit for elderly though but manageable. Host is responsive and helpful. 100% recommend it!

The apartment is at a great location- less than 10 minutes drive from Niseko resort and around 25 minutes to Rusutsu resort. It's away from the crowds at Niseko but we still have access to numerous of activities/ restaurants/ stores around the town. Mr. Takanori is very responsive and professional, and the apartment is spotless when we arrived. We would love to visit again soon!

Very good room. Very good host. He is very enthusiastic and helped me carry my luggage to the door of the room. He responds to needs in a timely manner. He is really a very good, very gentle person. The room is as described in the pictures. Clean and tidy. All the necessities of life are available. The location is also great. It is only 6 minutes walk from the subway station. There is a 711 in 3 minutes walk. It takes more than 10 minutes to get to Sapporo Station by subway. It is very convenient!I want to stay here again the next time I come to Sapporo (o ^^ o)

There are a lot of kitchen utensils, suitable for cooking, The environment is open, and the neighborhood is full of houses. Very quiet The owner will pick you up and drop you off at the station. Very thoughtful

I had a comfortable stay with warm, kind, and polite service. There are also attractive shops nearby, and I would like to visit them.My husband, friends, and dog all liked it and relaxed, and I'm really glad I chose ezora. The owner and the owner's dog were lovely.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very helpful and kind, giving us a ride to a from the station. He gave us recommendations for our stay. The location was ideal.

I stayed for 5 nights when I temporarily returned home this time. It was also a 10-minute walk from the station, and the bus stop was very convenient because it was just a short walk to the main street. I rented a rental bicycle in the neighborhood of the Otaru Canal for about two days, wandered around Otaru, got fresh seafood and deli food at a private store, cooked in the kitchen, and was able to do laundry, which was helpful.It was nice that the room was sunny, bright during the day, and privacy.Everything was clean, tidy, and had everything we wanted! It was also about a 30-minute bicycle ride to the Otaru Aquarium, so it was very fun to row a bicycle while watching the scenery. I think I will definitely take care of you the next time I come to Otaru♪ Thank you for a wonderful stay in Otaru!

Masaya and Keiko were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay very memorable, they are both incredibly kind despite the limited language barrier. Masaya drove me from Sapporo station and back on my last day, they also made me delicious home cooked dinner! I’m so thankful for their warm welcome and it was lovely to meet their family as well. I would definitely recommend staying in their accomodation, they also live in the same complex. The location itself is a short walk (about 10-12mins) from the closest station and is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking to experience the everyday suburban life of Sapporo.

Exactly as described! A comfortable and practical place to stay while visiting Sapporo. It is also a great location - right by a subway stop and easily accessible to all of the tourist attractions. And very close to grocery and convenience stores, and local restaurants. We had a great time! The hosts are very responsive and welcoming. Thank you Hiroyuki and Rei for your great hospitality.

Thanks to Moe for a great stay. Location and views are fantastic and everything works as it should. Do take note that there are many curvy and steep slopes in Otaru, especially if you intend to drive within the city.

The room was actually bigger than I expected. Everything is super clean and the room was very nice. It was facing the ocean and I bet it would’ve looked even better during the winter. I also really appreciated having a bath that’s also facing that view.

I let them both use it. It is one stop to Otaru Station, and the Rotao Honten and Music Box Museum are within walking distance, making it easy to sightsee. There is a Seicomart on the way from the station, which is convenient. The room was tidy and clean, but the lighting in the room seemed dark. The amenities are perfectly stocked, and I think it is very convenient to have a microwave, toaster, and coffee machine.

In the room as in the pictures, it felt nice overall, except that the comforter in the living room had a lot of no grease stains left behind was a bit of a hindrance, other things were ok, the fridge had simple flavor. No toothbrush provided, no laundry detergent was a little inconvenient😝

We loved Yumi’s place. Two things stood out. First, the home itself was very nice. It is on a high floor with a great view of the city. The beds are comfortable. The bath area has a very nice bathtub. And the dining room has a welcoming, rustic table. The space is decorated very well, but is not cluttered. Second, the location is excellent. It is very close to a subway station. And it has both a Lawsons and a Seven-Eleven nearby. It is also right next to a large, beautiful park. We were lucky enough to book Yumi’s place during the Sapporo festival in the park and had fun checking it out. Being an unfamiliar with Japanese and Sapporo, I found the paid parking lots to be confusing, but eventually figured it out. Also the security door to the elevator was confusing. Yumi explains what to do during check-in, but I still had some trouble. Despite these initial setbacks, we had a great time and I would choose Yumi’s place again the next time we are in Sapporo.

CP is 200%, enjoy it very much, more thoughtful design than many hotels, and I highly recommend coming here for a relaxing vacation!
