Holiday rentals with a fireplace in La Madeleine

Very clean, comfortable cottage in wooded area. Friendly Host. Good communication - we had a small problem with the shower and that was resolved professionally immediately. Small downside: mattress of the double bed quite hard. Not everyone finds this pleasant.

A big thank you to Claire for her understanding and kindness, a real relief for us! (reservation other cottage in February, sale of this cottage and end of May cancellation by new owner). Came for a wedding, our family spent 2 nights, excellent bedding - beautiful bathroom and very clean house - unfortunately we did not have time to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the cottage! The street is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The parking 3 minutes away was very appreciable, especially for the children. We highly recommend this listing.

Beautiful accommodation, spacious, bright and very well equipped! The only downside is the lack of curtains to block out daylight in the bedrooms. But it's just a small detail.

We had a perfect stay in this cottage, as part of our student tests. The place was quiet, clean and very well-equipped – ideal for revising in good conditions while enjoying a relaxing environment. We had a very nice weekend at Cyril's house. It' just as pictured in the photos and we felt welcome right away. Thanks again for the tasty brioche. Everything was sneaky clean and it comfy. It was great to have a spacious place with a nice living room and small garden to hang out after walking through Lille and before hitting the nightlife. Happy to come back if possible next time I visit Lille.

Jean Édouard's accommodation is superb, a real haven of peace. Consistent with the description and very well maintained, Jean Édouard is very available and caring. It is with great pleasure that we will come back if ever.

We had a beautiful weekend. Isabelle's house is perfect to relax and enjoy the garden. Just 5 minutes from supermarket and all amenities. We found the town of Seclin very quiet. Just a 20 minute drive to the centre of Lille!! We will most certainly return!

An amazing night offered to my husband for his birthday. Having already done several hot tubs, this one is exceptional, and has the little something extra. The pole-dance bar in the bedroom and the centerpiece make the place special. The cleanliness is flawless and the spa is cozy. We will probably test the second hot tub in preparation!

Very nice host, fluid and responsive communication, all the instructions were very clear, a pleasure! The apartment has charm, it is not one of these investor airbnb furnished with 3 ikea cutlery, it is perfectly placed, it is impossible to do more central. In short, perfect for a Lille getaway!

This is the second time we have come to the apartment, Tiphaine, because we had discovered a very beautiful, spacious and very pleasant accommodation, very well equipped and very clean. The decor is great and the location is ideal and quiet for visiting Lille and its region. A parking space is a more appreciable plus. Tiphaine is a very responsive host and her accommodation will delight you.

Apartment in a great location for walking tours. Numerous restaurants nearby + parking. Close to metro. Anne very proactive and friendly. Good bottle of beer offered at check-in.

Spacious and pleasant home. We stayed with 4 people and that was fine to do. Communication with Sidi went smoothly. He responds quickly and friendly. House is a 30-minute walk from the old town but the metro is around the corner. Recommended.

We stayed here for a week during the Christmas cross cycling races. The home is very remote and a perfect place to relax and find some quiet time for our athletes to relax and regroup. The home is set up very nicely with everything in order for you to cook and prepare your own meals. The house also provides lots of space for everyone to find their own spot to relax. The outdoor yard was quite nice and very private as well. We look forward to coming back to this home and area soon! - Marc.

We were a group of young adults and more senior adults. The house , garden and pool were fantastic for all the group. Loads of space and seating so you could easily find a quiet spot, especially in the garden. The chickens were very friendly and even Guizmo the cat seemed to get friendlier as the week went on. House was very clean when we arrived and very accessible for my wife who has limited mobility. Easy access to the patio, pool and garden was a big bonus. The surrounding area is very flat and good for cycle rides especially along the canal to Tournai which is a lovely small town. The beach at Den Haan is within an hour and well worth a visit with a huge beach, friendly sea and lots of cafes and bars. Ypres is also well worth a visit with the In Flanders Field museum a must for anyone who wants to know more about WW1. The war cemeteries were also very interesting and moving. We had a couple of early minor problems but Jocelyn responded very quickly. I would recommend for families.

We once again had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s place and were able to stay for longer this time. It was hard to drag ourselves away from the beautiful house, garden & pool but we spent some time in Lille which was wonderful. Recommend the Cita Parc for those with small children. A fabulous stay in a truly luxurious home.

Calm and soothing house. Ideal for relaxing with others, close to Lille and quickly accessible by bus from downtown. Hosts are very kind and flexible on departure and arrival times

The house is beautiful in lovely peaceful surroundings. The pool was lovely and we had everything we needed. Elena was responsive and came and met us when we arrived to show us around the house and tell us how everything worked. The listing was informative and we were able to follow the instructions to find the house without any problems, the area is very quiet but there are shops and tram station very close by.

Thanks to Bérenice and her family for this house which is a real haven of peace. We had a great time there, enjoying the very large garden. We recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Lille region with family or friends!!
