Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Arrowhead

Just wanted to get away for a couple of days to celebrate our first Father’s Day. We LOVED the place. We brought our dogs and newborn and there were endless things to do with everyone. We planned on checking things out outside Big Canoe but didn’t end up having enough time because there was so much to see! We went during storms and lost power (we were fine and it wasn’t for long)and chase and his uncle were on top of it! I will note that cell phone service is VERY sketchy- so downloading a map of big canoe is helpful. And if you’re hoping to just walk outside and walk your dogs -I wasn’t able to find an immediate trail and the winding roads are sketchy to walk but there are plenty of places that are a quick drive away in the resort. We tried to get food delivery- skip that. Pick up your groceries at the Lowe’s food grocer along the way. Other than that we both can’t wait for our kid to be older because there is SO much we have left to do. Will definitely rent this place again!!

10/10 would go back. We had a great time. So sweet to leave a present when we got there. Plenty of things to do around the place. Beautiful area, wild life, and so close to the lake. We had such a blast and we're even able to do laundry before we left. They had EVERYTHING we needed. Loved the fire pit and the dock on the lake. We will for sure be back. Wonderful multilevel home for an extended family trip. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the pool table and dart set was a nice addition for family fun. We enjoyed eating out in the screened in porch.

Beautiful, clean and very roomy home, the kids and adults all enjoyed the game room at the bottom floor, owner was very responsive and flexible with our very last minute booking. Such a peaceful location

This was the perfect place for our family vacation! We enjoyed the neighborhood amenities (beach club and marina for a fee but totally worth it!) and plenty of hiking trails. The house was better than the pictures! Beautifully renovated and very comfortable. We also appreciated the location of the house within the neighborhood- not too far from the main entrance and no scary drive up a mountain! Would definitely come back!

Jauxniece was very responsive for any issues and questions we had. She ordered new kayak paddles for us when we discovered a broken one. They arrived the next day. The lake was awesome for kayaking and fishing!

Beautiful home with plenty of space for a family. We had such a great time and would definitely rent this place again. My kids loved the downstairs area and being so close to the lake. Brought our boat from FL and were able to tie it up easily at the doc and the boat ramp was less than 5 minutes away. Highly recommend.

Hemlock Hideaway was the perfect cabin to spend time with my 2 daughters and grandchildren. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. The surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. The grandkids loved seeing all the deer! Hemlock Hideaway was the perfect home away from away!

We love staying in Big Canoe, and this place was so clean, well stocked, and had the perfect screened porch to relax on in the mornings and evenings. We can’t wait to return!

First of all Lake Arrowhead is a beautiful area with loads of outdoor activities. Andy’s place was perfect for us. Plenty of room and had every thing we needed. Very clean and safe. Our dog enjoyed both the deck and screened in porch. Highly recommend this place and would go back but while we were here we bought a house in the community. Beautiful mountain and lake views here.

From the moment we arrive we felt at home. It was a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back. The Walnut Mountain community is beautiful. Definitely check out the pool. Town is close if you want to sight see or go out to eat.

We were in town for a short visit to see friends and this was a wonderful place to stay after a long day of driving. Clean, comfortable, and great for families or adults traveling.

Gustavo was a great host! The house was absolutely beautiful with many amenities, like a home away from home! We had one minor issue with the home and he quickly reached out to fix the problem. All around would definitely stay here again!

The place itself is quite cozy nice to stay in, the neighborhood seemed a little sketchy. Otherwise, had a wonderful stay and board games made the stay more fun!

We were there for a tournament nearby and the kids as well as adults had fun. It was secluded and was a bit of challenge to drive into in the night on day 1 but once you get used to the place, it was perfectly fine. Since it is a decent distance from the main road, you got to plan and stock your groceries accordingly if you are planning for cooking on your own. Basic cooking needs were all there and hence you just need to worry about getting veggies/fruits. Only scope for improvement is the cleanliness of the furniture/cushions on porches and patio as they were quite dusty and not usable. Everything was pot clean inside the home - on a whole, a very happy stay for us.

Beautiful home and location! Right on the water- super easy to bring the kayaks out. Chris was very responsive- although we had no issues. She checked to make sure we got in ok and then sent instructions/suggestions for the area. This was by far the best home we have stayed in Big Canoe. It was also the cleanest and most stocked rental we have experienced. We will be back!

Truly enjoyed our stay at Connie's place. The home was decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The quality towels, linen, pillows, mattress, dishes and paper products were greatly appreciated.

Our extended family stayed at Patricia's place for a graduation. The sleeping spaces and number of beds were perfect for our group (9). Also, we really enjoyed how spacious the kitchen was and how many sitting areas there were. The projector in the living room was a fun surprise and the outdoor space (kitchen, seating area, and table) were amazing! It was a great stay!

We had such a great stay at The Lake House!! The house was clean and it had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The beds were extremely comby and had plenty of pillows!! That's a huge plus to us! We spent a lot of time down in the family room playing billards in the evenings which we really enjoyed with our grown sons and daughter in law. The little walk down to the lake is not bad at all, and the boat house is very nice with plenty of places to sit and relax. The swaying of the boat house and the relaxation of the lake will put you to sleep. Nice place to have your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. There is also a nice deck on the house with a grille and patio table which we also enjoyed sitting and relaxing. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants to stay in Woodstock. You can't go wrong staying here and will stay here again the next time we are this way.

The location was convenient and safe, and the house had everything I needed. The neighborhood was peaceful and great for walking my dogs. Daniella was an excellent host, and I didn't encounter any issues during my stay.
