Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Morey

My stay is hard to review. Was looking so forward to this weekend getaway but was battle tested with sickness and terrible weather. Nothing bad to say about the listing just bad timing making it hard to fully enjoy. I would highly recommend this stay otherwise as it was definitely capable of providing what I had wanted. The perfect place for our family’s ski trip. The cabin is exactly what you picture for a winter VT trip. Charming log cabin with a wood burning stove, but with all the modern comforts. We were only 5 minutes from Okemo and the hot tub was amazing after long ski days. Locked ski locker on the porch was convenient. Great kitchen so we could cook breakfast and hit the slopes early. The host gave clear instructions and lots of helpful recommendations - very friendly and quick to respond. Fire wood and log starters made the cabin cozy at night. Despite all the snow, the driveway was well plowed. It’s a quiet dead end road without traffic. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic time at Lauren and Pat's lodge! It was very cozy, clean, and well equipped (sheets, towels, beautiful updated kitchen with a good amount of kitchen ware) - the perfect landing spot for our chill girls' weekend. It's situated in a peaceful woodsy area with lots of windows that let in natural light, but it's also conveniently located fairly close to various activities, groceries, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Stunning natural surroundings, the cabin is nestled in valley by a brook, among the mountains, near trails, farms, and skiing. Lisa had some really nice touches and the house is well maintained, clean, and fun.

A perfect getaway! My husband and I had such a relaxing time at this beautiful cabin. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, the space was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Every little detail made it feel like home. Ashleigh was an incredible host, providing helpful information and even checking in to ensure we were enjoying our stay, which we truly appreciated. One of our favorite moments was unwinding in the hot tub, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. During our stay, an afternoon thunderstorm rolled in, and sitting on the screened-in front porch with a cup of coffee, watching the rain, was an unexpectedly serene experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat, and we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. The cabin and surrounding property are beautiful, and Evangelyn was a wonderful host. If you’re looking for a peaceful, “home away from home” getaway, this is just the place.

We loved this cute little cottage. It included everything you could need. Lance was so kind and quick to respond to anything we needed. We would definitely return!

We were stuck in from the rain, but it was the place you’d want to be in that case. We had games and entertainment as well as the recreation center to occupy our time. Time was well spent with family and we had plenty of room too. We’ll definitely book again!

A wonderful place to stay. As a host Matthew goes the extra mile. We stay here every year and this year my 7 year old niece visited and is now making plans for next year. Family memories in the making. Thank you for sharing this special place. It's always a joy to go and stay.

Natalia’s home was beautiful! We stayed for a winter ice fishing weekend with a few couples, including dogs and babies. The home was right on the ice, which was perfect for our purpose. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The living room seating was particularly great- everyone always had a comfy spot to sit. We enjoyed our stay!

This cabin location was an adventure and we loved it. Patricia explained it all very well and we knew what to expect. If you're looking for peace and quiet and to be one with nature, this is worth the experience. You will need an SUV with 4WD to help get you there. Patricia was a very helpful host and she's the bomb.

Really lovely stay. Perfect for a getaway in nature, relaxing, and refreshing. The home was well cared for, had everything we needed, and was so cute and cozy.

Hannah and Ben’s place was the perfect retreat for a quiet getaway! The view from the upper deck was stunning!

Heidi's place is a wonderful cabin in the woods with all you need to enjoy the nature in Vermont. Super peaceful and the property is well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here to enjoy your vacation!

We loved this sweet cabin overlooking Curtis Pond. Great screened in porch, well-stocked kitchen, games, barbecue and fire pit. A great spot to relax and take advantage of VT summer.

We have stayed at Pioneer cabin several times now- and it is peaceful and welcoming in each season and with every visit! The kitchen has everything you could want for cooking, and the setting is serene. Our teen sons made memories grilling out, challenging each other to a dip in the chold May lake, and huddling around the firepit telling stories and laughing. My husband and I sat on the porch listening to the loons and soaking up the peace in the mornings. The beds were comfortable, and even on the chilly rainy Saturday the heat and electric fireplace kept it a cozy space to curl up with a good book. Our family is already eyeing the calendar to plan our next visit. Thank you for giving us the joy that Pioneer cabin provides with every trip. We can’t wait to come back!

The cabin is exactly as pictured. Cozy and inviting. Kerri tried to anticipate travelers needs. Plenty of coffee, tea and cocoa if desired. We especially appreciated the snacks and water she provided while we were out on the trails. The washer and dryer came in handy to clean our muddy hiking clothes.

We loved everything about this home and our short stay in Bath at the cabin. I wish we had a few more days to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the forest and river. Loved having two full bathrooms - a big bonus!

Our stay at James's cottage was a great experience in a beautiful location right on Lake Morey. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed from a well-appointed kitchen to the large screened in porch to the outdoor decks, dock and raft. The cottage faces west, looking out across the lake, which afforded us some beautiful sunsets. There was ample room for five of us to play board games or to find a quiet place to read a book or to kayak, swim and fish. James was an excellent host; he was very prompt and responsive with his communications. We had a wonderful family vacation and would definitely consider returning there in the future.

This was a perfect space for us and our service dog. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils that you need. Pamela thought of e very detakl ended for a peaceful a d relaxing stay.

Nice private location! So quiet and peaceful. Nobody in sight! Loved having the house so close to the car so it was easy to unload after long day of hiking! Could hear the birds chirping and there was even one nesting on the porch! Would definitely stay again! Also loved that the host didn’t have a bunch of rules everywhere and a list of things to do. Was just able to enjoy.

Fern Gully is magical, especially in Spring when we visited. Very private setting with breathtaking views of Vermont's landscape, but still easy to get into Woodstock. The place has everything you'd need and is tastefully decorated.

This cabin is an absolutely beautiful spot for someone who wants to get away, enjoy the beautiful scenery, the quiet, and wildlife! Joseph was extremely helpful and very nice and made sure everything was good to go for us! The fridge was stocked with waters and gatorade (which was needed after a long wedding night) and the cabin was pristine! All of my friends said they have never slept in such comfy beds before lol! He has very nice appliances and a very cute firepit! We live in VA and my husband said he would come to VT just to stay in this cabin:)

honestly, the photos don't do it justice. it is a beautiful area and it's honestly bigger than it looks. it's in the perfect spot and is surrounded by activities let alone all the amenities the host has to offer. even when weather wasn't ideal, just staying in was still a nice retreat. they have a lot of board games and so many movies and the chromecast so we were able to use our favorite streaming services. this home has such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere / environment and honestly we were sad to go. we'd definitely be back if we choose to go to new hampshire again, forty minute drive to franconia, hour drive to mount washington, i mean it was perfect. there is nothing about where we stayed / what we did that i'd change. if you're going to new hampshire, seriously, consider staying here. it's gorgeous
