Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Lake of Egypt

The place was so great and cozy, my partner even mentioned trying to get an apartment with a similar vibe. Everything was fantastic about this stay and Allison was the best. She is so nice and friendly and was very keen on us having a great time. Highly recommend if you are trying to check out local spots or if you just want some place to chill.

Judson and Betsy were lovely! So kind and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The place was super cute, and in a beautiful location next to the woods (we saw some cool wildlife). They included anything you could possibly need, from kitchen supplies to first aid to an iron and ironing board.

We were here for the solar eclipse, but would come back for summer activities! And stargazing! Super quiet, peaceful area. Phyllis was incredibly nice! Friendly, accommodating, even brought us all fresh eggs and bread! Note that the stairs down into the apartment were a bit steep, but the handrail is placed well, and even my 75yo mother was able to navigate them.

We absolutely loved staying here!! Very clean and quiet, peaceful and beautiful!! Everything we needed was at the place and everything was super cute and very clean. I really appreciated Tammy’s little binder of instructions and recommendations for places to go and enjoyed the coffee bar. They really thought of everything!! Pictures looked like the stairs were outside, but I was pleasantly surprised to see they are indoors. I will say for future guests, GPS (we use the Waze app) lead us to a completely different private address. We passed the street the place was on so I easily knew where to go, just don’t trust GPS! Street sign is very visible thankfully and be prepared for gravel roads and a fun backwoods experience with gorgeous scenery. We loved it, so breathtaking, secluded and just what we needed! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice place! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal. The place was very clean. Easy check in and it was easy to find. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect peaceful place to stay while we did some hiking and then wine trails. Everything was as described and all drawers and light switches were labeled which was really nice.

Had a great time and Patrick and Jennifer’s place in Carterville! Very clean, looked to be newly renovated, exactly as described. The instructions to find the drive and get into the house were clear and easily followable. Comfortable furniture and spotless amenities. Nice lil neighborhood, it felt quite peaceful and safe. I didn’t really need to reach out to our Hosts for anything, they had everything covered for us. STL was only a little over 2 hours away, and we took a day trip there. Lots of hiking, lakes to swim, and local restaurants around Carterville as well.

This place is a real hidden gem 💎. Very cool place with a lot of history and nostalgia. The building is like a fortress with no noise and expertly remodeled with tasteful accents ! I love the comfortable stay. The hosts are 5 🌟Strat + , very attentive and kind with the guests being top priority ! You won’t go wrong on your adventure staying here. My family had a great stay to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday! Everything was just as described. Very clean! We had everything we needed for the stay. The extra bathroom amenities were a nice little touch! Also appreciated the fans in the closet. We will definitely be back!

Rhoda’s place was perfect yet again for our families trip to the area. The house is always spotless. Rhoda’s welcome snack is always appreciated by my kids.

We absolutely loved this place. Super peaceful, with great surroundings. Vernon was very nice, and great to talk to! We enjoyed being able to fish whenever we wanted, for how long we wanted. Highly recommend.

Good spot to experience southern IL for a weekend! Quiet neighborhood and easy to get around to other towns. Lia was very responsive and helpful in planning and while on site. Two bedrooms on the same level with a shared bathroom was convenient for our little family!

Everything was just as described and pictured. It is a bit of a drive to get back to the property, but Vickie had let us know that ahead of time so we were prepared. We had a great experience.

The Airbnb was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Being so close to the lake was a huge bonus. The host was responsive and thoughtful, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!
