Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Päijänne

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Perfect stay for a bigger group. Also allows for multiple cars to be parked, just need to leave enough space for the people living in the house next door. Close enough to the center so Uber was very affordable to use since we did not want to walk at night. The surroundings seem peaceful though.

Absolutely pristine place for a girls weekend away from our routines! We Enjoyed hot tubbing and sauna, and slept so well! The cute Kyläkauppa served us well for souvenirs!

It was cozy and peaceful with a quiet location and cozy outdoor spaces. I would have liked to stay longer. Nice money in front of the sofa. I have to buy one for myself. The owner is friendly. I can stay again if I need to. I recommend. Familiar Moccamaster cooker and everything was easy to find. 😃

The apartment was clean, the house was peaceful and quiet. Kitchen well equipped, bed comfortable and blackout curtains good! The apartment also has an air conditioner to cool the bedroom. The sound of traffic could be heard a little in the apartment from early morning until late at night, but it is normal in the city center, near a big road. Convenient location for downtown services and train station. Children are taken into account, 3- and 1-year-olds enjoy the toys and books in the apartment. For children, there is also a playground, a nature trail and a shop nearby. Kaisa responded to messages quickly and proactively. During our visit, there was a renovation in the neighboring yard, which was quite noisy late, fortunately it did not disturb our sleep.

We were very satisfied with the stay. Communication and guidance went really well and the accommodation corresponded well to the description. Both adults and children were taken into account.

A sympathetic and atmospheric apartment in the lovely Mäki-Matti. Check-in was smooth and Liisa kindly responded to messages. Nice when the baby bed and high chair were ready. I recommend it!

This was my third time staying at Lasse's but first time in winter. The property is super cozy and luxurious. The sauna is fantastic and its proximity to the shops is a plus.

Very neat and beautifully decorated apartment in a quiet house!🩷 Anna responded quickly and kindly to the messages and the key was handled neatly. From the railway station, you could easily get to the front of the house by bus.
