Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Placid

Family had a great time. House was big enough and lay out was great. Kitchen and living room upstairs with bedrooms downstairs was nice. Hot tub was very nice and well used. Outside access to deck from second floor balcony from kitchen was convenient. This Lake Placid location to many high peak trailheads was only 10-30 minutes which was great. Would recommend this house for sure. Family wants to come back.

I absolutely loved staying here! It was so beautiful and comfortable. We will 100% be staying here in the future for our hiking weekends!

Greg’s home is spacious yet cozy, a true home away from home. Gorgeous kitchen and living areas, comfy bedrooms, and lovely property, and just minutes away from beautiful Mirror Lake and the town - our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Greg was immediately responsive, kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back, thank you Greg!

We completed the lake placid 9er hike on our stay. Great location with all hikes less than 20 min away (some less than 10). Spectacular view and incredible kitchen. Hot tub and sauna were great amenities for recovery from long days hiking. Place is as advertised and you cannot beat the view of the mountains. Highly suggest going to the hungry trout restaurant. Only a few minutes away, much closer than downtown lake placid and the food/service was great. Highly recommend this rental and hope to be back next year to begin the 46er.

This home is beautiful and the location couldn't be better. It is the perfect Lake Placid house for big groups!

Our group had an all-around incredible experience at this house. The location is unbeatable, the property was beautiful and the hosts were very attentive. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to beautiful Lake Placid!

We were visiting family in Keene. Everything was clean and the fireplace was all set up so all we had to do is light it. Plenty of wood provided. 20 minutes to Lake Placid. Tons of hiking available. We will definitely be back.

This was probably the nicest Air BnB we’ve stayed in. Kitchen items were well stocked and in like new condition and very good quality. Would definitely come back here to stay. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms are new and very clean, hot tub was clean and worked great! If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay, that’s got all the amenities of home and is a reasonable (15-20 minutes) driving distance to village of Lake Placid… this is the place!

I wish I could give Deb and Doug 1000 stars! The apartment was amazing, truly a home away from home! The kitchen was STOCKED with everything you would need from a waffle maker, pans, to coffee/tea, to eggs! Deb even made us homemade gingerbread cookies which were DELICIOUS. Two out of the four days that we stayed, we actually made breakfast and ate in the dining room! And saw hummingbirds out of the window!! The living room was super cozy and we made great use of the electric fireplace (The weather was still in the 50s when we went). It also had a very comfy sofa bed which I slept on while my parents took the bedroom. They said their bed was super comfy too! There was even a noise machine in the bedroom along with some fans (they really thought of everything!). The apartment was also incredibly quiet and private. And we honestly didn't even pay much mind to the low ceilings. We're all around 5'7" and we had absolutely no issues! We cant wait to visit again, we will definitely be back!

This place was great. I've stayed in many ABNBs and this place was very clean. It was a very short walk to downtown which was perfect to catch a music show or grab some beers at the brewery. The neighbors were nice too. parking was easy. It's a basement on 2 sides with a walkout to the street like the photos show so it's cool and darker which was great, bc I like to sleep in and I didn't get too hot at night. had a great stay. I would stay there again, and would recommend.

Audrey’s Porcupine Farm Barn was the perfect place for us and our pup to get some respite from our day to day grind. With scenic vistas outside our window the space was an ideal blend of rustic and comfortable, and Audrey was around to answer any questions and assist us whenever we needed. We would absolutely stay again - and hopefully will soon!

We highly recommend this property overlooking Mirror Lake, with easy access down to the Lake and Main Street. The backyard is well maintained, beautifully landscaped and the views of Mirror Lake and the mountains are wonderful. Street or municipal parking was convenient and inexpensive. The entire unit was spotless. The beds were comfortable and the towels were plentiful and very soft. The unit had Bosch appliances and the William Sonoma kitchen items are a classy touch. The large soaking tub and double sinks in the bathroom are a very nice plus. We appreciated the washer/dryer, snacks, beverages, and especially the Nespresso. Angela provided recommendations and any other information that was needed. I would absolutely return for a stay in this unit without hesitation.

Loved staying at Hannah’s! cozy , quiet and clean, and perfectly located. Very kind, welcoming and responsive host and I wished I had more time to spend there. Would love to come back

We really enjoyed staying in Johnny's place for our trip to Lake Placid. Easy to get to everything. Less than a mile into the center of town with shopping, restaurants and 1980 Olympics buildings. Two blocks to Lisa G's restaurant which is really good. Lake Placid is a fun town event on a very cold winter weekend. Johnny is a great host and very responsive. The place has everything that you need. We will be back and hope to stay at Johnny's place again.

Loved staying at Vadim's place: comfortable, quiet, extremely close to the Olympic center, Main Street, and Mirror Lake. Equally as important, Vadim was an excellent host. incredibly responsive, flexible. Without a doubt, I will be coming back to Vadim's place
