Trillium Cottage is situated on 2.5 heavily wooded acres overlooking the Snowbird Mountains and Lake Santeetlah. This very private two bedroom, one-story cottage sleeps 6 (two queen beds, one sleeper sofa) and has two full baths. The clean contemporary decor features artwork by regional artists and new comfortable furnishings. This is a place to relax, unwind, enjoy a good book, time on the lake, take a beautiful drive on the Cherohala Skyway, hike one of the many nearby trails, check out the artists in Stecoah, cook your favorite foods or simply take in the nature around you. *If you have a group larger than Trillium Cottage can accommodate and looking for an additional cottage close by, please check out Sundance Cottage. It's a very short walk away and can accommodate 7. **ATTENTION: The last 1.5 miles to my cottage is a forest service gravel road and one part is a bit steep. Front or All wheel drive is recommended.

We can't adequately describe how peaceful it is to sit in the HOT TUB on the deck & watch the sunset turn the sky pink & purple over the Smoky Mountains. We purposely tucked the cabin high up against the mountainside to achieve the most incredible view! Evenings around the Fire pit w/the stars are simply magical! Guest cliff jump at the secret swimming hole, canoe the lake, hike the Appalachian trail, whitewater raft the Nantahala River, and rest in an amazingly cozy & romantic mountain cabin.

Wow! It's beautiful here -- nothing quite like it. All the amenities, but kinda like stepping back in time 30 years to a slower, more peaceful time. We are open! Sit in the rockers with your morning coffee, eat your meals at the kitchen table or sit in front of the fireplace all while enjoying the amazing view! The hot tub is located on the deck overlooking the beautiful Mountain View. We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. There is a book in the cabin with other recommendations
