We loved our peaceful stay at Kari’s Airbnb. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the raptors, soaking in the hot tub, and making snores over the fire pit. Can’t wait to come back!

Serene, scenic, and so comfortable! We loved our stay at Trout Creek Cabin, and hope to stay again sometime. On this trip, we managed to dodge some rain for a bike trip in Lanesboro one day, and a hike up to the lookout another day. Otherwise, we indulged in the view, took naps, read books, played games, had long meaningful chats, and realized in the hot tub. We couldn't dictate the weather, but we could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

Our stay was peaceful and beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Super cute cabin. Beautiful view. We went on an adventure every day from hiking to searching for Wisconsin cheese. Loved the Airbnb. We will be back.

It was a good place with amazing views

The cabin is beautiful and in a great location. We loved exploring the trails and cave. The hot tub was also amazing! We would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent cozy cabin in the woods! Very private setting feels like your a part of nature, lots of birds and deer around the cabin. Very nice touches around the cabin - high quality beds, sheets, linens, and even blankets. Comfortable couches and chairs inside and outside. Highly recommend!!

100% recommend staying here. I am blown away. First the view is breathtaking, there are so many different spots in the cabin, where you can see the trees , the river and the beautiful pond in the backyard. The cabin itself is gorgeous. The decor, the furniture, the linen, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful . The hot tub was perfect . The beds were very comfortable, so were the couches to lounge on. Everything you could think of in the kitchen ,the linens were soft and cozy. They also provided items that you might have forgotten, like cotton spots, and dental floss. I just cannot get over how beautiful the setting was, if you are debating, staying here I would definitely recommend it. The host is very responsive and quick to reply with any questions or concerns you might ask . And even provided a link for fun things to do around the cabin if you choose to leave which to be honest, I found it very hard to. Will definitely be back.

This cabin is remotely quiet away from cities. It is perfectly getaway to unplug and refresh!

We loved our getaway at this sweet cabin. it was the most kid friendly air BNB we have ever stayed at: the perfect blend of serenity and flexibility, toys and games and plastic cups, clear expectations about what is available and what is off limits, lovely decorations and not over the top or breakable, space for kiddos and for grownups. not super sound proof but nothing a white noise machine can't solve. and the best part was the opportunity to explore the woods and trails and the creek! for hours of screen free entertainment. highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay. We visited quite a few Amish businesses and their produce auction. The beds were comfortable and the birds were amazing. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the birds. Also had a doe and fawn come walking right by. We had almost perfect weather so were able to have the windows open. Nice hot shower and plenty of space. I preferred the outhouse over the incinerator toilet but that was just my preference. We did have rain one morning and couldn't cook outside. A hot plate or electric griddle would be a great addition. Other than that the stay was great. We would definitely stay again. Check in was easy and a nice note with local suggestions was so nice. We did travel to Fennimore and I would recommend the train museum if you are looking for things to do.

Excellent. Love this picturesque coulee, and the barn is always a hit. Perfect crash pad for us after days spent exploring trout streams.

Lovely secluded area for a weekend getaway. Wood stove was great during the cold rainey days. Lovely area for my dog to run around freely. Beautiful flowing creek. High possibility of returning in the fall.

Absolutely incredible place for a peaceful getaway not far from Rochester. The shared bathhouse was very clean and well-stocked and the lighting meant that even at night it was not bad to walk to. Chelsi was very responsive and helpful, we decided to add a night at the last minute because once we arrived we knew we wouldn't be able to leave too quickly and Chelsi was flexible and communicative. We will be back!

Slice is awesome. Jared was great, and was helpful with any of the questions or needs we had. Place was just described, private, secluded. Which is what we were looking for. Only complaint was that there were lots of mosquitoes and many ticks on the dog, but we’re not in the city, We’re in the woods so can’t really complain about that,,, we had a great time..

Lori was super responsive. place was exactly what we wanted for a two day state park tour. very private.

This is my second stay here! My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away for a weekend or who wants to take a fishing trip. There are a ton of great fishing spots around the area. I will definitely be coming back!

The cottage is in a beautiful location and the family members who stay there (now two times) love it and hope to return again next year! The cottage is clean and well-stocked and Nancy is a very helpful host. Thank you!

What a gorgeous location and equally amazing home. Thanks to the hosts for graciously sharing such a pristine cabin in the woods for us to enjoy as we celebrated a big birthday milestone. If you fly fish or are just looking for peace in the wilderness, look nowhere else. We're already talking about coming back annually.

Kimberly was easy to work with and quickly responded. She was flexible when I needed to change my dates. The place was amazing. Such a great spot. One of the best parts was the bird feeder in the front window. Would definitely stay here again.

The Firefly Cabin was a perfect get away. Pam’s attention to detail inside and outside the cabin was incredible. Very clean and comfortable. Close to town. I didn’t see the fireflies (not warm enough in early June), but the chirping of the birds on the porch made a beautiful song. I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Pam.

Looking for a relaxing weekend with the family with a ton of potential for memories that last a lifetime? Look no further than this hidden gem in De Soto. I've frequently traveled south craving "southern hospitality", little did I know, just a couple hours north had "Midwestern hospitality"! Justin was very responsive initially when asking about his property, very knowledgeable about surrounding activities as well as great watering holes if you catch my drift. The cabin is decorated perfectly and it immediately makes you take a deep breath and smile knowing that you are home. There is plenty of room for you and your family to stretch out, play games, go fishing off of your own private dock, walk to the Rivers Edge and grab a bite to eat (less than a 5 minute walk), etc. If you've got a boat, bring it!! Don't miss out on the local wineries at your stay either! rate 10/5! Can't wait to return!

Cozy cabin, with a skylight in the loft to Stargaze! Beautiful area out in nature, including a pond. Paula was very friendly & accommodating. She provided alot of little extras to use on the cabin. A nice place to stay to unplug & relax!

Joe and Jean were the best hosts yet (we travel quite a bit)! My family was visiting while my little boy had Mayo clinic appointments and they showed so much care and generosity! Joe was quick to offer a helping hand with backing up a boat trailer (thank you) and Jean and the pups took us on a Kabota ride to explore. We will most definitely be back to visit these two fine humans along with their two sweet puppies! We miss them already! A++++ on cleanliness, organization, stocked kitchen, toiletries, laundry supplies, cozy blankets, grills, etc. etc.

This is my third time staying at this property, first time at the Overlook cabin. Traci and her husband are excellent hosts! The cabin is one of the nicest air bnbs I have ever stayed in. Beautifully crafted, excellent views of the valley. Our group enjoyed fly fishing the local streams and hiking. This place is truly a gem. Highly recommend. Will be visiting again soon.
