Monthly Rentals in Langrick

Joelle, Rob, Alan and family are wonderful humans whose cottage is the very definition of rustic charisma (shot through with beguiling French accents). With a convenience store a 2-minute walk away, the post office across the street and a pub just around the corner, the cottage offers a step back from the world without feeling cut off from it. (The WiFi, for the tech-enabled, is also exceptionally good.) I was sad to end my stay early due to a natural disaster on the premises. I would unreservedly recommend this accommodation minus that once-in-a-lifetime aberration.

Thank you very much for everything Margaret. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and you had thought on everything - the breakfast food was a lovely touch too. A very comfortable stay indeed. All was as described and a very central location to enjoy the area. We thoroughly enjoyed a meal out at The Royal Oak, Heckington - a great recommendation.

The cottage has been planned and presented with excellent attention to detail. The gardens are huge and so well maintained. The gardens have lots of little 'hidden places' and quirky details that add to the whole experience. We loved the location, as it's off the beaten track but, not at the end of a dreadful dirt track but, amidst lovely open fields and with well laid access. Don't expect a million shops or restaurants in walking distance but, nice pubs and food are short drives away. Local town about 20 mins easy drive. A perfect haven for two people looking for peace and quiet.

Lovely, peaceful weekend stay with a friend and my dog. The cottage is lovely and cosy, bed was really comfortable. The garden is really big and completely enclosed, so perfect for the dog. The main sauna wasn't working but there was a second one which was great. The sauna room is really relaxing, we stayed in there for a few hours in the afternoon, just relaxing on the chairs and nipping in and out of the steam. Lovely choice of upstairs terrace with a view of the river or the verandah or around the firepit for drinks. All in all, a lovely cottage and location.
