Putkola Cottage Finland

Find your peace in a classic Finnish cottage with a sauna in the immediate vicinity of Lake Kivenkänä in South Karelia. The cottage is electrified, service water must be carried from the lake, guests must bring their own drinking water. Dry toilet. Not far from the cottage is the Kyläkuppila Käpälämäki bar, where in addition to the classic offer of drinks and meals, you can also buy basic groceries, various consumer goods, and fishing permits. Various cultural evenings are often held here.

Charming 65 m² cottage located in Ruoholampi, Lappeenranta, close to the LUT campus. The cottage features a small private yard and beach. During the summer of 2026, the lake water level is exceptionally low, as is the case elsewhere in Eastern Finland. So swimming may be difficult in shallow areas.

Welcome to this cute little log cabin by lake Kuolimo. This cabin in the woods is not recommended for those seeking all modern facilities. There is an electric stove and a fridge with a freezer and warm running water for washing dishes but only a wood heated sauna to take a bath, an outside house for WC. A sofa bed in a living room and mattress bed for two persons in an open loft. A fireplace. A large deck with a hot tub and a gas grill. Traditional Lappish grillhouse and a rowing boat.

Jos etsit majoituspaikkaa luonnon rauhasta järven rannalta tai kiinnostuksen kohteitasi ovat retkeily/vaeltaminen suosittelen kodikasta mökkiämme majoittumisellesi. Tänne on hyvä tie perille asti. Tunnelmallinen saunamökki Saimaan rannalla. Mökin ympäristössä laajat metsät tarjoavat upeat mahdollisuudet marjastukseen ja sienestykseen. Kalastaa voit mökin rannalta tai lähteä soutuveneellä järvelle. Pyöräilijälle löytyy kilometrikaupalla hiekkatietä ajettavaksi. Mökki sijaitsee Ruokolahden melontareitin (102km) varrella. Puusaunasta lyhyt matka uimaan. Ei juoksevaa vettä, juomavesi tuotava mukana. Pesuvedet kannetaan järvestä. Soutuvene käytettävissä.

Erillisessä piharakennuksessa mökkimajoituksen tuntua lähes ydinkeskustassa idyllisellä omakotitalo-alueella. Rauhallinen sijainti 2-3 henkilön yöpymiseen. The yard is mainly in a natural state, so you may find blueberries as well as chanterelles.
