Waterfront holiday rentals in Leiden

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

The flat is in a lovely 17th century house on the canal. It is a 15 minute walk from the station which is very convenient if you’re travelling around to other places as we did. Marjan is very nice and communicative.

Eva’s place was perfect for a central base and had everything needed - great having a washing machine also. Location was great - easy walk to town for eating and also 15mins walk to the station. Eva herself was amazing and helped me out quickly when I locked myself out.

Michiel and Marjolein are wonderful hosts. Their beautiful property is truly idyllic. The living space is very comfortable and intelligently planned - as guests, we felt very much at home. It was a joy in the mornings to wake early and hear the birdsong (so many varieties!) and sit with coffee by the beautiful pond overlooked by a majestic willow and wildflowers. The property is so private and very conveniently situated. We were really inspired by the gardens and are already planning our next visit! Der Aufenthalt war super schön! Es war ein tolles Häuschen für 2 Personen! Man hatte genügend Platz und es war schön ruhig! Man hatte alles was man brauchte. Tolle und ruhige Lage!

Alles hat super einfach und reibungslos funktioniert. Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr schönen Lage. Den Strand erreicht man in weniges Gehminuten und ins Zentrum kann man mit der Bahn fahren, die ebenfalls direkt ums Eck ist. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, sauber und so wie es Beschrieben wurde. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war richtig schön zum abschalten und Den Haag zu genießen.

This AirBnb is all about the location. It is in a great spot near restaurants and many of the sights of Amsterdam. Right around the corner is a shop to rent a bike, or you can walk to public transportation in a few minutes. It’s next to a canal and the street location is blocked from cars driving past so the noise is minimal. The bed is very firm, but clean and comfortable. The shower is spacious and well done. It is a large space with lots of room to sit and relax. It is down one flight of stairs. This is a basement bedroom, but light and airy. This not a hotel room. But again, its location is the best. The owner is quite lovely and helpful. There is plenty of room for your luggage, but no closets or dresser to put items away. Well worth it!

Die Wohnung ist super, aber das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse auf 3 Seiten des Hauses, direkt am Wasser. Die großen Glasfronten im Wohnzimmer geben den Blick aufs Wasser frei, was die Wohnung auch bei kühlen Temperaturen besonders macht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man am liebsten keinen Ausflug machen möchte, sondern nur in der Wohnung bleiben möchte.

We enjoyed our stay at Brenda and Michael’s super clean, spacious, well appointed home. It was full of light and the eclectic decor really added to the experience. The location was ideal, just 2 train stops from Centraal with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the house. Communication couldn’t have been better. We had a issue with the coffee machine and Michael stopped by the same day to fix it. We would highly recommend this Airbnb.

The apartment is beautiful, tidy and everything was working perfectly. The location is great, close to local bars and restaurants, and also close to the beautiful dome of Utrecht. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

This was a great place to stay for my mom and I’s first time in Amsterdam! Branko provided so many different recommendations and transportation all around. There is a free ferry boat nearby that takes you to great spots! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very nice, peaceful, convenient and situated in a nice neighbourhood. Helena was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage at the apartment until we needed to go to the airport. Helena also gave us some very good local recommendations

Super séjour. Ingrid et son mari nous ont très bien accueilli. L’appartement était conforme à la description et nous a permis de découvrir Amsterdam. Station de métro ou ferry à proximité, facilement accessible avec les vélos mis à disposition gratuitement par les hôtes.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!

Die Wohnung ist echt schön (was man nur vermisst, ist die Kochmöglichkeit), die Lage einfach meeega, alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar und die Vermieter wirklich super lieb! Wir kamen dort an und als Begrüßung stand sogar schon eine Flasche Wein dort :) Wir kommen gerne wieder :) Liebe Grüße Jessy und André

Schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Flexibler Check-In/out. Natur direkt vor der Tür, schnell zufinden, nicht weit weg von Amsterdam oder zum Strand in Noordwijk. Wir waren super zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.
