If we could give the castle 10 stars, we would! None of us wanted to leave. The castle with view and surroundings was beautiful and peaceful. Our kids loved learning the history of the castle and of Spain in general from Marc, the host. Marc was always available with anything we needed. We hiked 3 trails from the castle which Marc recommended and we loved them all. The kids enjoyed exploring the castle and property around the castle. They all say it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed! Thank you Marc! We hope to come back one day!:)

This property is simply incredible. Every element in the home is carefully considered and designed. We felt comfortable the entire time and had access to everything we needed. Had anything come up, i'm certain Claudia would have been ready to answer any question. The pool is stunning, exactly like the pictures. The garden is peaceful and a wonderful place to sit and relax each morning. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great wifi and TV. The bathroom and shower were spotless and we had plenty of towels. The washer was easy to use and we hung clothes to dry in the garden on a rack provided. The city of Figueres is quite lovely. Much more lively and interesting that we anticipated. We used it as a home base and took day trips with a rental car out to Cadaques, Girona, Tossa de Mar and other neighboring cities. The garage was a little tight for our car, but worked great regardless. A bigger vehicle likely would not fit. We couldn't recommend this home enough. Well worth every penny.

Es una casa muy cómoda. Hay varias casas rurales en la misma masía, cada una con su propia zona exterior de barbacoa y con zonas comunes como piscina y una área de juego preparada tanto para niños como para mayores (ping pong y palas). Todo estába muy limpio! El entorno es inmejorable (muy verde y se oye el rio). Hay un cerdo que se puede alimentar con pieles de fruta, etc y ademas hay gallinas, patos y burros. Fuimos con Patricia a dar de comer a las gallinas y patos y a los niños les encantó. También hay un riachuelo por el que pasear o bañarse y se puede hacer alguna excursión. Un super planazo!!

Diese Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp für alle, die Natur suchen. Die Lage direkt am Fluss, umgeben von einem wunderschönen Wald, ist einfach traumhaft. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Egal ob ausgedehnte Wanderungen durch die malerische Landschaft oder anspruchsvolle Kletterrouten in einem erstklassigen Klettergebiet, es gibt immer was zu tun Wer eine perfekte Mischung aus Entspannung und Abenteuer sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Rafa is hands-down one of the best posts I have experienced. His gracious hospitality was superb – demonstrated in remarkable attention to detail throughout the home, care to ensure everything was perfectly set for a smooth and restful welcome, and proactive local tips to make sure I had what I needed. RAFA was also exceptionally responsive and gave many local recommendations throughout my stay – even setting up some beautiful experiences on my behalf. His home is a unique mountain respite – perfectly demonstrated by the photographs and lovely in every way. Very grateful for the week I spent at LaRocca. 🙏🏽

Clara i Gerard majisimos y atentos. La casa súper bonita y la ubicación es tranquila que es lo que buscábamos. El check in suele ser entre 17h y 18h y check out 11h o 12h Si vas por dos noches no sé si compensa. Definitivamente compensará una semana entera. Nosotros fuimos con un bebé y un perro y disfrutamos mucho de la tranquilidad

La estancia ha sido perfecta. La casita cuenta con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de un fin de semana en plena naturaleza. Además, Raquel ha sido muy amable y atenta en todo momento 🥰.

Stayed at Bin’s place with my wife to celebrate her birthday. And it was amazing! We would like to highlight that Bin is a very caring, supportive, and attentive host. His professionalism is evident in everything, from the way he organizes the space to how he makes guests feel comfortable. The house is equipped with all the necessary kitchenware, appliances, and amenities to make you feel at home, even in a secluded mountain location. Bin also provided numerous hiking routes and was a wonderful conversationalist. By the way, if he offers you to buy some French bread along the way, go for it—it was incredible!
