Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

Mountain View Cottage in East Tennessee

If you're a remote worker, traveling RN, or need a base while you look for property (Aaron is a licensed TN realtor), this cozy cottage will be your respite. This cottage has a peaceful country setting but is close to the tri-cities. From the front porch, you’ll see a gorgeous mountain view! Mid-term rentals are preferred, but short-term rentals are considered. We strongly encourage purchasing AirBnB Insurance because we do not do refunds for cancellations. Dogs are considered, but no cats.

Guest cottage on a large, quiet lot in town. Convenient to ETSU, Mountain Home VA, Johnson City Medical Center, and just minutes from downtown Johnson City or Historic Jonesborough. This is a stand-alone tiny house that shares a driveway with my home. The cottage has a full bath with laundry, kitchen, a queen bed in the main bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. Ample off street parking for bigger vehicles or those pulling a trailer.

Hannah’s Farmhouse

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We are located 20-30 minutes from Tusculum College and Greeneville and 45-50 minutes from Johnson City. A beautiful country farmhouse with a view of the Smoky Mountains and a hot tub to relax in. Our dear Grandma Hannah lived here before she passed away in February of 2023. We want the place to be a testimony to who she was—loving God and people and always friendly and hospitable!

Chestnut Ridge Retreat

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Build a fire and relax in the pavilion by the fireplace or sit around the fire pit. Guests comment that they sleep so well in the room. Walk to property to see the chickens, horse and donkey.
