Cottage holiday rentals in Limestone

Our family was gathering for my Nieces graduation from ETSU and it was our first time being all together in 6 years. The Dogtrot was so spacious in all areas allowing us to be able to play games and eat all together. We even had a competitive game of wiffle ball in yard. We utilized all the amazing amenities the hot tub, sauna, outdoor fireplace and played games at the outdoor table. Oh and I can’t forget the serious matches of ping pong that took place in the enclosed breeze way. We only had a couple of issues the instructions for the wood fired hot tub were no where to be found but Jason responded quickly providing instructions and the oven wouldn’t work which did cause issue with family dinner but again Jason/Brent were very apologetic and worked with us since we ended up having to leave a day early. We hope to come stay again for a longer period of time!

The house was amazing! It was perfect for our needs as our son was graduating, and it could accommodate those who made the trip, as we live 10 hours from Johnson City. David and Karen were responsive and accommodating. The extra space of the guest house and game room worked out wonderfully for additional guests and those who wanted to stay up later. Looking for a good workout, the steps up and down to the dock worked! Groceries and shopping are about 10-15 minutes away, and downtown Johnson City is about 20 minutes away. Hiking in Warrior State Park takes about 15-20 minutes, and the Cherokee National Forest Laurel Falls Headtrail is a 30-minute drive. Loved our stay, we would stay again!!

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our daughter's wedding up the road at Magnolia House. The Little Stone Cottage was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean and tidy, ample amenities, and we loved being able to unwind from the long drive in the hot tub! Hosts were very responsive and provided lots of recommendations in town. Highly recommended if you're visiting or exploring the AT. We were especially happy to able to support the locals who lost so much during Hurricane Helene.

Perfect location! The place was great for my kids and I. My husband is deployed and this was the first trip we have taken without him. We felt very safe in the area. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for hosting us.

We had a wonderful time. The property is very relaxing, great Mountain View’s off the wrap around porch. Saw deer almost daily. Kitchen is well equipped. This is our second time staying at Honeysuckle and we plan to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Bears Den Cottage in Barnardsville. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful escape with beautiful mountain views. We especially enjoyed starting our mornings with coffee listening to the river rushing. The host was communicative and provided helpful local recommendations. Perfect for a relaxing getaway! We loved staying at this cottage. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed the wildlife and the stars are incredible! I caught 5 medium to large fish in the pond. It was a great experience. Will for sure come back during the summer or fall when the leaves on the trees are back.

This stay was pure magic from start to finish. The view alone is worth the trip—expansive, peaceful, and utterly captivating. But as night fell, the hills transformed into something out of a dream. Fireflies sparkled in the darkness like a thousand camera flashes, nature’s own paparazzi capturing the moment. It was breathtaking—an enchanting light show that felt like it was just for us. Inside, the home was equally charming. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and thoughtfully made up—each one felt like a cozy, curated retreat. We especially appreciated having a washer and dryer on-site (a true luxury while traveling) and winding down in the hot tub under the stars. The landscaping around the cabin was lovely, with sweet little birdhouses dotting the yard and a grand old tree that stretched over us like a protective canopy. Every detail, inside and out, felt intentional and full of heart. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway that reconnects you with nature book here.

I recommend Renata's place without hesitation. The listing is accurate and the house and property are a great place for a peaceful, scenic country get away. The house is comfortable and inviting with good quality appliances and amenities. Everything worked well. Renata is friendly and helpful and genuinely goes out of her way to provide a comfortable rental experience. The cottage was everything I could have wanted for a peaceful trip to reset after the holidays. It was cozy, whimsically decorated, and had lots of great poetry available to read. The features I used the most were the tub and the electric tea kettle. The sound of water from the stream in the front of the home was so soothing to listen to. It was also very easy to get groceries at the Ingles up the road and cook all of my meals in the kitchen. The home had everything I needed for a calm, easy getaway. The homemade blackberry jam was to die for - I actually went out and bought more croissants not once, but twice to eat it all! I loved every little detail, and can't wait to return :)

Our stay at Logan's place was great. Very clean, comfortable, with lots of "extras" and in a great location. The fenced backyard was great for our dog. We loved the front porch for morning coffee and evening drinks. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We visited neighboring towns and did lots of hiking. We highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Robert's place. Such a beautiful setting. I loved sitting on the deck listening to the creeks. Will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

Marcela was an AMAZING host!!!…The cottage was beautiful inside and out!..All of the amenities were there.The area was very relaxing and quiet and the bed was so comfortable!..I totally recommend this beautiful cottage and get ready to enjoy yourself!!..I will most definitely stay twice a year!!!

This lovely cottage is remote, but close to downtown Jonesborough, Johnson City and Unicoi. The beds were very comfortable & the couch is nap ready! The pool table was a great activity for all of us. We saw all kinds of wild life on the front and back porch areas. Kitchen is very well stocked. Property managers responded very quickly when I couldn't operate the remote lock and they were very flexible with our check-out time. We would highly recommend staying here.

Quant little house at Lake James. Very clean and tidy. We had a great time there went paddling with the 2 canoes that are at the property . We Would-Will come back again

I stayed here for three months as I was looking for a place to relocate and I absolutely loved my stay here! It is a beautiful location, where you can see the lake and so much access to many hiking trails. The Airbnb is adorable and both my dog and I felt right at home. David was an incredible host and was super proactive to seeing what I needed or ways to make my stay better. The day I came was a huge snow storm and I mentioned how my car doesn’t drive well in the snow and he came and completely cleared my parking spot. There was an also a time I had car troubles and he was able to give his trusty mechanic’s number. David went above and beyond in my stay there even offered to grab things while they were closer in town. Some things to be mindful of is the location is a on a busy road and cell service is not great in the area so if you are looking to unplug this is perfect! I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to all my family visiting!

Our entire experience was amazing. Darren was extremely helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful with a lot of things for the whole family. We will definitely be returning for another visit. Darren went above and beyond.

Great place to stay in Linville Falls. Used as a base camp for Grandfather Mountain (~20 min) and Linville Falls Winery (~2 min). Would definitely stay there again.

This retreat was something truly special. Reva’s property is a peaceful haven, surrounded by nature, a beautiful creek, stunning mountain views and two of the sweetest goats you’ll ever meet. The entire space is spotless and thoughtfully arranged, with every detail feeling intentional and warm. We spent time by the fire pit under a luminous sky, listening to the creek and just soaking in the stillness. The drive in was stunning, and once we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into another world. Very quiet, calming, and full of charm. Reva went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She’s an incredibly kind and gracious host. We’re already looking forward to coming back. This place holds a quiet kind of magic.

We came to Bristol for a family celebration, 80th birthday party for my husband’s grandmother and also his 40th birthday. We wanted to be close by but also have some time to ourselves. The cottage on the Holston river was lovely. A beautiful view of the mountains and river. A very quiet area. The cottage was cozy and well appointed just perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the fire pit nightly, went for hikes at the TVA trails and dam and checked out some local restaurants in Bristol and Abingdon. We highly recommend the Lumac rooftop at night and the girl and raven for coffee and lunch. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful with suggestions about local fishing spots and getting us firewood. We hope to return to this sweet cottage and the peacefulness we enjoyed during this stay in the future.
