This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

The location of the historic barracks, The Ripperda, is not only beautiful but also wonderfully central.

At the end of a dead-end road at the bottom of the dike overlooking the "Eilandspolder" nature reserve and a 5-minute walk from the "de Havik" mill, hidden between the reeds and right on the ring canal, is the "De Smid" vacation home. 30-minute drive from Amsterdam Noord. 30-minute drive from the Noord Zeestrand. Ons gastenverblijf in het centrum van Limmen is geheel gerenoveerd in jan/feb 2024 met een geheel nieuwe badkamer. Het is een aangebouwd appartement (30m2) met eigen ingang en alle voorzieningen (AH, bakker, etc) 3min te voet. Het prachtige Noord-Hollandse duingebied en het strand (10min), maar ook ook Alkmaar(15min) en Amsterdam(30min) zijn goed bereikbaar. Parkeren kan aan de straat en is gratis. U krijgt een privé stuk tuin tot uw beschikking.

This beautiful house is located on a small island in Aalsmeer and can only be reached by water. Naturally, we provide you with a boat equipped with an electric outboard motor. If needed, we’ll teach you how to operate the boat and tie knots. Upon arrival, we’ll pick you up with our boat. Your adventure-filled stay begins here! There is also plenty of space to dock your own boat if you wish.
