Lovely and cosy cottage in beautiful surroundings. Loved the roaming chickens in the grounds and the delicious Victoria sponge that greeted us upon arrival.

Where to start! I made a dramatic entrance a day early and Nick and family handled it fantastically. They made me and my dog feel welcome from the offset, despite interrupting the tennis! The hut was pretty, peaceful, and private; just what I wanted. Lots to see and do in the area if you want to, and Nick was on hand to give advice on local attractions, too. If you just want to unplug and unwind, Ty Gwyn is also the loveliest place to hide out and relax. At night I was treated to bats right outside my door, and a tawny in the distance. The bed was super comfy, and the log burner cosy. I loved it that much, I added an extra night to my stay. Alan (dog) had the best time, too. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook, or recommend Ty Gwyn. Everyone I met on my trip was lovely. Wales, we will miss you!

We had a lovely stay, chose the place as it was close by to a wedding venue that we attended but we all wished we could stay longer to enjoy it more!

It was such a pleasure to stay here with the most stunning views of the Brecon’s. Beth was a great host, friendly and very helpful. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. We will return.
