House holiday rentals in Log Cabin

This was by far one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at. The location was perfect, we had access to great dining without getting stuck in Dallas traffic. Close to everything yet felt tucked away and secluded amongst the trees. The hosts went above and beyond in making sure their guests felt welcome by not only presenting a clean and beautiful home but also generously supplying everything you could possibly need during your stay and then some. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with cooking amenities and utensils. No detail was overlooked. The large master bedroom and bathroom had a great view of the treetops and easy access to the pristine pool with ample patio seating. We were able to relax and really enjoy everything about this beautiful home. We fully plan to return! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience in your lovely home!

Lovely home in cute neighborhood. The outdoor area was perfect for our family. MJ was a very responsive host.

The photos posted were as advertised, cleaned, cleaned linen, towels, all the games listed worked, pool and hot tub were cleaned. I would stay there again,

Amazing place conveniently located near Dallas and Houston, perfect for a family get together. It's private, peaceful and ideal for a staycation to unwind and have fun. The hosts are incredibly responsive and friendly, couldn't ask for more.

The house was great! Kids loved the pool and is adults loved lounging outside on the patio!

Perfect property for our family gathering. Location on the lake was great for boating and jet skis, as well as a nice shallow area for the kids to play. The house was clean and just as described in the listing. Hosts, Jessica and John, were always available when I had questions and very responsive. Would definitely book again!

Our family decided to stay at Southside of Heaven for Easter this year, and it was well worth it! From the time we walked in we enjoyed all of the decor and the view was amazing. We rented the boat on property and had a great day on the lake and the boat was well maintained. Highly recommend and the hosts were very helpful. Would love to come back soon!

This was our first visit to Cedar Creek Lake to attend a wedding in Murchison. We had a wonderful long weekend. The home is beautifully decorated and everything that you need is there. The property is lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed fishing, playing cornhole and sitting around the fire pit. The bed linens and towels were top-notch and mattresses very comfortable. Michael and Patricia are very easy to work with and extremely responsive. I highly recommend this home for your next stay.

The home was exactly what we were looking for. Beautifully finshed on the inside with a beautiful property and views of the lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with more than enough towels available. One item for consideration. The steps to the second floor are incredibly steep and unmanageable for someone with mobility issues. There is a sleeper sofa available on the first floor but with a step to manage to access. The large walkin shower on the first floor was very helpful. We had a lovely time and wished we had booked for longer. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Excellent stay. Not just redone cheaply, but actually well built and designed home. Zero complaints. We had 12 adults and all had a bed. It was perfect

Very great stay !

If your thinking twice about this place....DON'T!...just book it! This place from the pictures does not do it justice. We stayed and week and couldve stayed for another and not got bored at all with the amenties. The hot tub was one of our main highlights, because you can watch movies from the tv they have outside while getting a nice massage and soak from the jets. At 5pm my brother and I would go out to the top deck and fish and we saw many carp and caught so many catfish. We paddleboated around the canal and caught more fish and a good tan too! We had a GRAND OLE' time. One more note, this host is the best I've experienced so far with air bnb. She is very proactive. When we arrived there were plenty of snacks for us. The house smelt fresh and clean. She even had some beautiful carnations. She checked in with us before arrival, a couple days after to make sure if there was anything we needed, and then after we left. From a cost analysis aspect, it is worth it! 100%!!!

Loved our stay. Just what we needed to relax and unwind. Perfect for unplugging from the world and enjoying the family! Host was very communicative and friendly! House well very well stocked and visitors needs well thought of. A lot of love went into this home and it shows! We will most certainly be back.

The guy and I needed a quick getaway and Sean’s place provided just that. The porch in the back is beautiful!! The place is super clean (which is very important to me). He was very responsive, helpful and the place is just overall peaceful!! All Of the essentials are there to every detail. They even have things for your fur babies! I’ll def be back for a longer stay.

The space is right off the lake. It was exactly how the pics look but even better in person. The air was crisp, the fire pit on the patio was perfect for sitting out under the stars in the evening. We grilled on the gas grill and enjoyed our views. Of ever in the area, would def be back. Everyone was very nice in this small town. I felt very safe.

Great spot for a bachelor party. Host stuck with us through some bumps on our side which was much appreciated.

We had a fantastic stay at Michael and Patricia’s place. The hosts had great communication leading up to and throughout our stay always making sure we had everything we needed. The home was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. The home has great sleeping arrangements and our entire group slept comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and we made multiple meals during our stay both in the kitchen and using the outdoor grill. The home has an amazing view of the lake and there’s a ton of waterfront. The dock is a little beat up and could use some maintenance, but this is a minor issue and only a problem if you bring a boat. If you’re bringing a boat and plan to tie up to the dock, make sure to bring bumpers or buoys so your boat doesn’t get scratched up. Overall our stay was amazing and we could definitely see ourselves staying here again in the future.

Love staying at the Red Roof Cottage. The place is adorable and has everything you could need. The place sits towards the end of a cove and is so quiet, peaceful and calming. We really enjoy sitting on the desk listening to the birds sing in the morning and hearing water splashing at night.

The owners were so nice to work with and communicated very well. The house was more than advertised as the kitchen was very well stocked. The lake access was just what we needed via the dock and ability to use the boat lift for our boat. The deck over the boat lift provided a great view. The house was very clean. The bedrooms were bigger than we expected. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. We had a great time and hope to come back for another visit.
