Around the lake you can experience untouched nature. The Elster Cycle Trail connects Saxony and Thuringia along the reservoir dam. The town of Elsterberg with all shopping can be reached in 3 minutes driving.

Our lovingly furnished apartment is located in the idyllic village of Tiefengrün. In the immediate vicinity of an inn and only a few kilometers away from the German German Museum Mödlareuth. Due to the convenient location to the A9 and A72, excursion destinations are easily accessible. Ideal starting point for destinations in Northeast Bavaria, Southeast Thuringia and impressions on the former German/German border. We are also happy about guests in transit, hikers and cyclists. Adventure?! Tinyhouse-style cabin for a cozy getaway in the Vogtland. The cottage has a small bathroom with underfloor heating, shower, toilet and a sink. The sleeping area for two people can be reached by a comfortable ladder staircase. There is a small wood stove that heats the hut, is used as a stove and spreads comfort. Direct parking on the property. There is another hut on the property, which also occasionally accommodates guests.
