The house is located in a small village that can be visited. There is a bakery in front of the house and a restaurant a little further down on a square. The village is a 15-minute drive from Fontainebleau castle and close to the forest for walks. There is a very nice garden overlooking the roofs of the Village.

A great place to stay for a group bouldering trip to Fontainebleau. Really spacious and comfortable. Lovely outside eating area and space to park 3 cars. We also hired 2 bouldering mats which was helpful. Clovis is super friendly and has thought of everything you might need for a fun stay, right down to the Belgian beers. Helpful information about places to eat. We liked the Indian restaurant in Malesherbs….. We will definitely come again next year 🙂 Many thanks Clovis!!

We had a very nice time. The house is very idyllic on the edge of the forest and a small town with a bakery is within walking distance, so we could have fresh croissants for breakfast every day. Biliana was always easy to reach. You should perhaps know that one bedroom is a passageway to the next bedroom.

Very responsive and attentive hosts. The places were spotless and we enjoyed the little attention upon arrival. The setting is very nice and there are businesses nearby. If we have to come back to the area, we know where we'll be back.

We had a pleasant stay. Breakfast and meals taken outside with the birds singing. I highly recommend it if you want to rest and to fill it all with beautiful walks in family perspectives.

The place is amazing, even better than on the pictures. The park is beautiful and quite. we enjoyed the great swimming pool as we stayed with family including 2 young children. Beds were great. The house had everything we needed, all amenities. Strategic location from the Chateau de la Loire and for cycling. Yannick was really helpful. I would definitely come back.

Great stay with friends for the holiday season. The house is very convenient for a big group. It's very nice to have one bathroom per room. Sylvie and Gérard are very friendly and the communication was very simple.

Beautiful property, quiet and in a beautiful setting. We were lucky with the weather which allowed us to enjoy the exteriors, very peaceful. The house is also very charming, clean and above all well-equipped The interactions were friendly and more than responsive! We had a lovely weekend there and would recommend it without hesitation!

We spent a weekend with friends and the house is conducive to relaxation and having a good time, 1 hour from Paris.

We had a delicious long family weekend at Rod's. Young and old enjoyed the beautiful and large garden. The big swing balloon was a great success with the youngest! Well-equipped house, beautiful decoration, with a certain taste for lighting of designers, bravo! Great stay.

We had a great weekend for my birthday. The river is a big plus! the spacious rooms and almost all with private bathrooms. It felt like home, no fuss. thank you for your welcome. we will come back without hesitation.

We had a lovely family stay in Olivet. The house is beautiful - huge windows and high ceilings, full of historic character, but also renovated and decorated to a high modern spec in the kitchen, appliances and bedrooms. All the furntiture, beds and linen are very clean and new. The kids loved running in the big garden and relaxing in the sunshine. The house is only a few minutes drive from the shops in Olivet and close to lots of local sights like the walks along the Loiret River and stunning Parc Floral. Sebastien was really helpful and friendly. He provided all the information needed for easy check-in and answered any extra questions we had.

excellent villa, spacious and beautiful, with many extras and all working (barbecue, pool....) which is excellent To improve something, it would be the garden area, which is very beautiful and large, but it needs a little more care for the grass (mowing and watering) Otherwise, everything is perfect. Great place to stay for access to the forest. Easy to find and check in was easy. Host was very quick to respond to queries and was very helpful. Unfortunately we arrived before the pool was open but we would have used it if we could and it were a bit warmer. Rooms were clean and a good size. Kitchen is a little small but we managed to cook for us all okay. Regret not using the sauna but amazing that it were there.

Stay with friends for the 2025 games fair. Super functional accommodation with all the necessary amenities for 13 people. Berangere was super responsive when we asked for information about the accommodation. Great stay and thank you to Berangere for her hospitality. we had a very nice time in this accommodation, close to Bourges, the banks of the Loire where there are many activities. the accommodation met our expectations, in accordance with the description "rustic country house", in a very beautiful environment. there must be a humidity problem in the house, but after good ventilation it didn't stop us from having a good time with the family Anis is very responsive, and accommodating on the provision of the accommodation Occasionally we'll be back

The house was as described - photos are true and fair. Edouard was a fantastic host: very warm, welcoming, honest and generous. He responded to my messages quickly and went out of his way to help us. The place felt secluded, not overlooked, with a real sense of space and calm - huge garden! We loved the big pool, comfy sun loungers & the wood (with a circular path). Comfy beds and all the bedrooms were a decent size. The bathrooms were better than expected. Some rooms looked newly decorated - other rooms not. This suited us fine with teenagers (no spotless cream sofas to worry about!) Everywhere was very clean. Plenty of empty cupboard space in the kitchen to store our food & there was toilet paper, shampoo/shower gel/soap, cleaning materials, tennis balls & racquets, charcoal, logs, pool towels. Used bikes to get to the bakery. The only potential issues (but it didn't bother us) was the upstairs shower has low headroom; and vegans might not like the boar and deer heads on the wall.

After a busy week sightseeing in Paris, this was an excellent spot for relaxation for a few days in a lovely house with a pool before heading home to the US. All bedrooms were quite comfortable and the living area and outdoor areas were quite relaxing and comfortable. The immediate area Amilly/Montargis was somewhat limited, though you could easily walk to the local wonderful bakery in the morning for bread. But it was an easy day trip to Orleans - one of our favorite days of our trip. I would definitely rent here again if we are back in the area - the house was wonderful.

We had a great time with the family at La Gauchère. The house is located in the middle of the woods in an exceptional environment. It is very well equipped to accommodate the 15 people we were and especially for babies (cribs, dishes...) The garden, the tennis court and the swimming pool are a real plus for young and old alike.
