Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Long Lake

Had a nice 3 day weekend at the yurt with my girlfriend and dog. The yurt was nice and cozy. The skylight at the top was nice for looking at the sky at night. We cooked every meal there and found the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed. The flow of the brook provides nice background noise for outdoor fires. Had a great time and it was a good basecamp for lots of activities in the area.

Our stay was amazing. The scenery was beautiful, the cabin itself was well stocked and clean and our host was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We had a great stay in Tupper Lake, which we used as our home base to hike in the Seward Range. Moody Sunset had everything we needed and more. The kids enjoyed lounging in the basement and playing all the games available. And we enjoyed the beautiful views, cozy fireplace, and well-stocked coffee bar. It was also great to have a Google speaker (something we use at home often). And the ADK stickers, welcome note, and sparkling water at check-in were a really nice touch. Would absolutely recommend Moody Sunset for anyone looking to explore the area. You won't be disappointed.

The Cabin at Breezy Hill was the perfect spot for a cozy stay at the Adirondacks. Robin and Curt have been so helpful, kind and thoughtful. They had great amenities and everything we needed. Our favorite was the screened porch which was perfect for morning coffees and had a beautiful view. The fire pit is supplied with plenty of wood, the stars are incredible at night and the cabin has the perfect view of the Milky Way later into the night. The hiking trails nearby offer a beautiful view of the mountains. When our stay came to an end we reluctantly left but with amazing memories. We recommend anyone looking for a perfect spot in the Adirondacks to stay here. We will definitely be coming back. - T&A

We have been coming to Lake Placid for 15 years and this was by far the best house we’ve ever stayed in. Jonathan has thought of everything. There was no amenity we thought was missing. The house was immaculate. The property is beautiful and spacious; we had no issue accommodating 7 adults. Next time we come back to Lake Placid we will definitely be reserving this house again.

What a Beautiful and lovely place to stay! We were fortunate to meet the Airbnb owners and their family! Such wonderful and kind people! We loved our stay!

The flat was very clean and easy to find. Amy was very responsive and sent us a curated list of recommendations. We also loved the sauna, perfect for rainy days.

This home was perfect for our group, we had a great time in the backyard and outdoor areas and everything inside was nice too! Definitely would recommend staying here any time you're in the area!

I wish I could give Deb and Doug 1000 stars! The apartment was amazing, truly a home away from home! The kitchen was STOCKED with everything you would need from a waffle maker, pans, to coffee/tea, to eggs! Deb even made us homemade gingerbread cookies which were DELICIOUS. Two out of the four days that we stayed, we actually made breakfast and ate in the dining room! And saw hummingbirds out of the window!! The living room was super cozy and we made great use of the electric fireplace (The weather was still in the 50s when we went). It also had a very comfy sofa bed which I slept on while my parents took the bedroom. They said their bed was super comfy too! There was even a noise machine in the bedroom along with some fans (they really thought of everything!). The apartment was also incredibly quiet and private. And we honestly didn't even pay much mind to the low ceilings. We're all around 5'7" and we had absolutely no issues! We cant wait to visit again, we will definitely be back!

Lindsey was great. She was actually there when we arrived making sure that everything was perfect. She was very accommodating and worked with me to make my family’s stay perfect for our schedule, as we needed early check-in and late check-out. The place was very clean and cozy. The decorating was very modern and sleek. The rooms were relaxing. My children loved it. She had air hockey, mini golf, a soccer game, along with many board games, and books for their use during our down time. The apartment overall was wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone, and we will be sure to return if in the area again.

Wonderful peaceful spot, affordable and gorgeous location! Great response time and super cute (and really quiet) doggers peeking at us in the window when we were leaving. Great spot!

a very nice and quiet place for me and my friends to relax! the river was sooo beautiful townake up to in the morning and we all made some s'mores by the campfire! right next to a nice restaurant and a Stewart's so we could even get everything we needed for the fire! would come back here again and thanks for letting us stay!

Absolutely wonderful as far as location (we never needed our car during our stay as everything we wanted/needed was within walking distance). Steve (host) gave wonderful recommendations for eateries and hiking spots. The apt was comfortable and Keurig with kpods was much appreciated for our AM coffee. Will definitely be back

We love staying here and have for years. It’s one of the best getaway spots in the ADK. Sandy is Ana amazing host, too. We will be back!

We loved staying at Porcupine cabin and look forward to renting again in the future. The host was so nice and communicative during our stay - she even left snowshoes for us to use! We will be inquiring about the attached house to stay with our whole family, but the little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway from the busyness of life. The cabin had everything we needed and was exactly as described. It was so cozy and we even had snow while we were there, which was exciting for us since the area we come from didn’t really have snow this year. This was our first time renting an Airbnb and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. ☺️

This is exactly as it should always be! Roger was simply proactive and gave us all the necessary instructions and information. Really a place we look forward to go back to.

Cabin was cute and just what we needed for our 3 night stay. The bed was very comfy, the bath towels were good quality and the shower was nicer than I was expecting for an older cabin. It was a bit cooler on our trip (rainy and low 60’s), so at night we just kept the window in the bedroom open (make sure to put the wood piece in to hold it up), but any warmer and we would have needed a fan. I can’t remember if the listing mentions AC or not, but I’m sure Calli has a solution for the warmer days. Calli was very responsive too, we appreciated that. Saranac Lake is so quaint, my husband and I loved just walking in and out of the shops. Blue Moon cafe had great breakfast and we bought a couple books from the Book Nook :) Also if you’re looking for a short (2hrs in total) moderately challenging hike with great views, try the Baker trail that is only 4 minutes away by car. Also there is a bike rental in town if you are interested in going car free for your trip!

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Lots to do in terms of hiking, and activities in the cities nearby

We had a great stay fishing, walking and just relaxing. Did some driving to Speculator and Indian Lake too. Good plan when it’s buggy!

The Mountain House was more spectacular than the photos! The details in the decor are lovely! The setting is very private and quiet! The grounds were well cared for. We loved the large front porch and spent a lot of time on it taking in the peace and quiet while drinking our morning coffee. It is a wonderful retreat. We would definitely come back again!

Maura was an excellent host. Very responsive with very clear instructions on everything you need to know about camp stardust. The cabin is cozy and tucked away in the woods on a serene lake.

Amazing location to xc ski at Garnett Hill (right down the road about 5-10 mins) or Gore Mtn to ski (about 15 mins away). The location is very peaceful and the house itself is a great mix of updated and cabin cozy. We have two young boys ages 6 and 3 and found the layout to be kid friendly and safe, no issues with the stairs. The host even left a high chair in the entertainment room ( which we didn't use but was a nice feature for families with young kids). We found the amenities to be great, it was comfortable to stay and cook in the kitchen and use all the appliances--we used the coffee maker, stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave. The showers were warm and bathrooms were updated and nice. We all took full advantage of the wood stoves and sauna after skiing and playing in the snow. Amenities are within 10-15 mins in North Creek, we found the food options at Tops to be great. Would recommend to any families or outdoor seekers!

We had such a great stay. It was beautiful and Carol was outstanding and the chocolate chip cookies were amazing. We will definitely be back we loved every minute of it.
