Il podere interamente restaurato dista 3 km dal centro del paese di Brisighella ed è posto ad una altezza di 160 metri slm. Ovello è uno dei possedimenti più antichi della tenuta, ne faceva già parte nel '500 e proprio a quest'epoca risale la prima delle due case (casa Tamerice), mentre la seconda (casa Marruca) risale alla fine dell'800.
