Holiday rentals with beach access in Lowestoft

We stayed here for 6 weeks whilst waiting to complete the purchase of our new home. It suited our purposes perfectly and we loved staying here within walking distance of the beach and right on top of all the local amenities in Kirkley.

What a great little studio, we had a wonderful couple of nights here. The view of the sea was perfect on the sunny mornings. The beach is only 1 minute walk and the place is pristine and cosy. Andre was very responsive and always available with answers. Would highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful time away at the seaside.

Absolutely fantastic weekend away , The apartment was as described and contained everything we needed plus more. Great location conveniently 5 minutes walk from the Beach and 10 minutes into town - along a beautiful Seaview promenade. I would certainly recommend the putting green cafe for breakfast , its the closest and the full English was on point. Laura was great , on hand when needed and a mention of Ben and his tourist info 👍thank you

Lovely stay here, the flat was great with all that you needed. Located close to the seafront and amenities with free parking on the street. Rachel was very responsive and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Absolutely great location. Property to the rear of North Parade under the lighthouse. Literally a stones through from Adnams Brewery and 1 minute walk from the beach and promenade. Jane Elizabeth is a wonderful host. Thank you

We were absolutely delighted with Port Side! Everything about it was a delight; clean, spacious and very homely. It was exactly as described and the location couldn’t have been better, just a two minute walk to the plentiful parking in York Road and 5 minutes walk to the beach. Our girls (5 & 7) are already asking when we can go back. Huge thanks to Vicky, a fab host!

Super worth the price, good space, near everything, the hosts were super nice to us! The space was clean as was super comfortable!

This place is amazing. The apartment is cosy, the space is big and the bathroom and kitchen is beautiful. Perfect space and quiet. It’s private as well. It’s right opposite the sea. Right next to food places. About a 20 minutes drive to Great Yarmouth and 10 minutes to Africa Alive so was a perfect spot. There was lots of street parking directly outside the place. We absolutely loved our stay and Jane responded to our queries super quick. Would definitely be back and recommend to others.

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

A real home from home in one of Norfolks none gentrified villages. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The two main bedrooms are massive. So deceiving from the outside. If it ever went on the market, I’d buy it.

Tommy was a fab host. Communication was great and really fast - especially when I couldn’t figure out the oven and dinner was at risk lol. He was really thoughtful organising a cushion to be posted to us for the high chair. Definitely a host to recommend.

Just had the most wonderful stay at Penny’s place. Southwold is our happy place and this house is in the best location with great sea views and round the corner from The Nelson. Excellent communication from Penny.

This is the second time I have stayed at Amanda's home. Set over three floors, it is an excellent place to live comfortably. This is the first time i have taken a pet, and she was very well behaved. Because the house is in a lovely neighbourhood we acknowledge sound curfews, and we were very careful not to disturb any of the neighbours. Cars are easily parked and generally safe. A perfect place to stay, where we enjoy walks and the local maritime features. The Gorleston-on-Sea beach has to be the best ever. I always like to leave a place as i found it, and I don't think our host will be in anyway disappointed that we left it beautifully clean. Thank you to our lovely host, and we hope to visit again.

The house is stunning. We were a party of 6 adults and a baby for joint birthday celebrations. The kitchen and lounge layout was superb for cooking, lounging and celebrating and so light with the huge windows making it feel as if the garden and house were one. The bedrooms were all big, the beds and bedding beautiful quality. Showers were great. The layout of the house suited us very well with a good distance between lounge/ kitchen area and bedrooms so as not disturb a sleeping baby in the day or evening. Lots of games left for entertainment in and outside the house. The hot tub and BBQ were a huge hit, easy to light and maintain. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, really very happy to have found Rumi's Field. Thank you to Alice and Andrew who were so helpful when we had some extra questions before staying.

Great place to stay and an excellent location for visiting this side of Norfolk. Very quiet and peaceful, nice barn conversion with pleanty of room on three floors. Spacious off-street parking and we had use of a large pretty garden. The property was very clean, and had a modern fitted kitchen with excellent appliances. The house, in general, is very well equipped and very comfortable. Small but adequate shower room plus a handy ground floor cloakroom. The host lived next door and was available if needed. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

A lovely apartment on two floors, at the top of a beautiful Georgian building. We used the round room inside the rotunda at the front to have breakfast whilst watching ships on the river and out at sea.

Middle of everything, it’s on your doorstep.. would highly recommend right on sea front

Had a lovely two night stay Annetta greated us and showed us around was very lovely, The place was beautiful and quite and very clean and had everything you needed and the hot tub was a added luxury, loved waking up and walking outside and seeing the horses. My partner feel in love with Daisey the cat she likes to come and greet u also 😀 We would definitely come and stay again 😀

this is a great little find in an ideal location, near to beach, shop, pub/restaurant, tea room and fish and chip shop. the accomodation was spotless and had loads of little extras like welcome pack, sauces, tea coffee salt pepper, jams butter, toiletries etc. it also had a small private back garden with multiple seating areas , we would highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to our next visit Thankyou 😁

We had a lovely stay here at Great Yarmouth. The place was very new looking and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was lovely. Jane had put tea and coffee and milk in the kitchen for us which was very much appreciated. I’m hoping to return in August. I can highly recommend this place. Right near the beach, shops and restaurants. We loved it. We had a free parking space too.

Lovely large flat right in town and close to all amenities. Everything provided for a comfortable stay including good mattress and lots of cooking utensils. Much care has gone into the flat- thanks ...we'll visit again and recommend !

We had a lovely stay in Southwold. So much to do and see with lovely walking and restaurants and we had everything we needed in the cosy, well equipped stylish little flat. Location on high street was very convenient and quite quiet at the back where the bedroom & balcony is...apart from a few boisterous gulls :)

Fantastic location, great views of the sea and the pier ( as well as the rain clouds ) . Very comfortable and spacious flat that had everything we needed. There was flexible check in and check out offered which we appreciated and some nibbles left for our arrival .
