Beachfront holiday rentals in Lowestoft

Myself, my partner and family stayed in this property for my mums 60th. The cottage was as lovely as you can see in the pictures. The property was spotless and had a very homely feel to it. It was also a great size for 6 people. The area was super quiet and peaceful, with a lovely beach 15/20 minutes walk away. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Ruth was an amazing host, we went away for a mother daughter weekend and had a brilliant time. Ruth’s attention to detail was incredible, the chalet had everything we could have possibly needed. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is gorgeous and very secluded and peaceful. The chalet was perfect for 3 of us for 2 nights, and we had a much needed relax and rewind. Thank you Ruth!

Lovely home right in the centre of Southwold, we had an excellent stay!

We loved our stay. We spent 4 nights with our dog. Firstly it was lovely and clean with everything you need, we felt at home straight away. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the lovely beach and you can sit outside and see the sea - something not many places can actually say. It’s on a holiday park which is very peaceful and quiet. We can recommend walking down the beach to the Poachers Pocket pub - it’s about 10/15mins and even serves breakfast or a morning coffee. The overall location is also so easy to get around for days out in the Broads. We loved it And highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning! Ten out of Ten for this beautiful hideaway! It's a gem of a cottage in a gorgeous location! Located on a private lane this clean warm cosy cottage nestles beside other quaint old cottages whose lovely front gardens have the prettiest scented flowers. This lane and its hideaway cottages would deserve the title of 'Historic Conservation Area' because this is the historic 'quarter' of Caistor, and it is beautiful. Spoiling the lane by parking here would be a sin seeing as there are many other nearby spots to park. This adorable spotlessly clean & spacious cottage is extremely well equipped. The beds were fantastically comfortable. We loved the Honey hand soap and flowery infuser. Fast WIFI. Brand new boiler. Piping hot water. And a centuries old beam in the living room to admire and covet. Bridget, whose love and knowledge of this area shines through, revealed that long ago this cottage was part of a farm. We slept like babes in the cottage's peaceful atmosphere!

Lovely house in a great location ! Short walk to the beach, local park, pubs and high street. House was nice and spacious with a great garden space too.

Absolutely loved the inside with the beach hut. The chalet was very cute. Really appreciated all the board games which we used lots. Only downside was the tiny TV, which I know a previous guest stole the last TV but it would be lovely to watch a film at the end of the night. A couple of normal size glasses/cups would also be perfect. The beds were very comfy! The beach is amazing and is basically on the doorstep. The little garden was perfect for my dogs which made the stay so much easier. Would definitely return!

I could have written this review within 5 minutes of arriving at Stone Cottage but decided not to just in case things were not as they seemed. Our first impressions and that of the dogs were we had stumbled apon a gem, add in Excellent communication and spot on directions we knew were set for a loverly break. This was before we had arrived in the kitchen and the excellent welcome gift. The cottage was very well presented, clean, tidy and as just as described. So after 4 days would I have changed my review, yes, but only to add the additional bolt on the gate gave us confidence that the dogs who at times were lost in the large garden were always safe. I had a lovely few days staying in this great caravan. The sea view is amazing and the caravan had everything I needed. Matthew provided tea, coffee, biscuits, and leaflets detailing things of interest in the surrounding area. I grew up in Kessingland so know the area well. It makes a great base for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk as it's on the border. You can walk North along the coast to Lowestoft in an hour and a half, and South to Southwold in about 2 and a 1/2 hours. The caravan is very close to Benacre Nature Reserve, which is great for local wildlife and birding. The buses from Kessingland are good, providing easy access to Southwold, Norwich, Beccles, Lowestoft, and Halesworth, which are all worth a visit. The caravan site is pleasant, situated next to the sea and sand dunes. There is a fish & chip shop, launderette, and shop on site. The village has a Co-op and two more chip shops. Thanks for a lovely stay and for providing such a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

Booked for a last minute stay and couldn’t have been happier! Everything was super clean, and the furnishings were beautiful, made me feel right at home. Convenient features like AirCon and Laundry were a plus! Definitely exceeded my expectations! The location was 10/10 as well, right next to the beach, and all of the tourist attractions, which was great! Will certainly be staying here again!

We had a great week in this bright and cosy holiday Chalet. The advertising photos in my opinion show it for exactly what it is. The accommodation had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. We had some lovely warm sunny weather whilst we were there for the week so it was in a great location for coastal runs/walks and nice beaches not far. The White Horse Inn was also an added bonus just a stones throw away, with descent pub grub. We also used the Chinese takeaway next to the pub which was very satisfying. We are a family of four with a 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter and we would all recommend this chalet and location if you enjoy a peaceful environment with lots to do without having to travel too far. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay at Laura and Mark’s chalet. It was exactly as described. It’s a lovely little chalet that was clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need and you even get a welcome pack so you can have a cuppa when you arrive. Sofa’s and chairs all recline and are super comfortable. Tv was nice and big and the wi-fi works really well. Shower was powerful enough and plenty of hot water. The chalet is in a quiet setting with parking right behind it so easy access. It is in walking distance of a shop, chippy and restaurant. The beach is also close. It’s also dog friendly. Laura also sent us some recommendations for places to eat nearby which was helpful. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend!

Had a great long weekend at the house. So easy to walk to the beach each day and local pub was also great for food.

The house is gorgeous, thoughtful and considered decor in every room, comfy beds and loads of stylish touches. We loved the location opposite the pier and really liked walking up to the Jolly Sailor for the evening. Day trips to Norwich and Southwold were super easy. Damian was very flexible and helpful. Couldn’t be happier with our stay! In the perfect spot with it being very peaceful and quiet, there’s nothing between you and the sea! Also very close to everything near by. Both were fab hosts with great communication. Would recommend and will visit again.

Had a fab overnight stay at this immaculate caravan as we had something booked up to do locally. It had absolutely everything we needed and was so clean. The beds were very comfortable too. Was a shame we were only there for one night! Highly recommend this host! Thank you again Ugne 😊

This place is amazing. The apartment is cosy, the space is big and the bathroom and kitchen is beautiful. Perfect space and quiet. It’s private as well. It’s right opposite the sea. Right next to food places. About a 20 minutes drive to Great Yarmouth and 10 minutes to Africa Alive so was a perfect spot. There was lots of street parking directly outside the place. We absolutely loved our stay and Jane responded to our queries super quick. Would definitely be back and recommend to others.

Beautiful chalet just seconds from the beach, ideal for families and dog walks. The sea views from the sofa are stunning. Beth, the host, was fantastic with great communication throughout. Peaceful, relaxing, and everything you need for a perfect coastal escape. Highly recommend!
