Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lucerne District

Very nice outhouse a level below the main house. Private entry and exit. Facing a lawn full of roses in all colours and distant greenery. Felt right at home along with kindness and caring nature of Jennifer. Luzern station was just 15 minutes by bus and we faced no challenges in transportation. Place we clean and nice with comfortable bed and nice fixtures. Extremely pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

We really loved getting back home, it was quiet, just like the photos and much more peaceful than the tourist areas. Tricia was the best with her recommendations and adding slight personal touches to the place. It had everything you would need, and the best part it is truly a bed and breakfast, loved meeting Tricia for breakfast and learning so much. If I visit again, which I plan to I would definitely want to stay here.

I just experienced the best three nights of staying at an Airbnb. I would like to begin with how Andrea helped me plan my itinerary in Switzerland without even booking her place. She was so helpful in chalking out my plan, ways to get there, local recommendations, etc. Her house is magnificent, so tasteful. Her house feels like an ultra luxury stay with most amenities one might need. My kids were so happy with the toys, books play station at her place. The location of her place makes an excellent base to explore lot of neighbouring area in central Switzerland. She recommended some great local attractions which were a delight to visit. Her house is so serene located right next to an open field. I really enjoyed stargazing sitting outdoors sipping some lovely wine. I would rate this stay a 1000/10. I would choose to stay here over any five or seven star property. Her place is not just a stay but an Airbnb experience in itself. Will stay here again for sure.

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

This place was beautiful! It’s such a peaceful spot with amazing views of the lake and quite accessible to lots to do (assuming you have a car). Everything was very clean and it felt brand new. The amenities were great, there was even a washer/dryer! Everything is automated - lights, AC, blinds. For Europe, having AC in the summer is a must and was really important to us, so we were glad that it worked seamlessly. Riad was also a great host, communicated very well and responded promptly.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

Honestly, one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! Dieter was a really nice host, and checked in to see how we were going. Checking into the apartment was super easy and it was all very clean. The best part of this Airbnb is definitely the location and amenities. If you’re looking for an Airbnb with amazing views from your window, that’s still close to Lucerne city (both walking distance and easy bus access), then this is the one! All the appliances and furniture also seemed brand new, which just added to the really nice feel of the apartment.

Philippe and Melinda are very good hosts. Very courteous and happy to offer their help. The installation is high-quality and very spacious. Everything was very well organized, the veranda offers plenty of space to relax. I think the area needs no explanation, but it is very important to mention that nearby supermarkets and hiking trails are easily accessible. We liked everything very much, we can only recommend it.

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! Reto sent us a lot of useful information in advance and kept in touch during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped for self-catering. The wifi and hot water were completely reliable. The location was great too, and we would certainly stay here again.

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

The location of this place was perfect, easy walk from the train station as well as to the lake and the main attractions. Beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed and the neighborhood was safe. Perfect for our family of 6!

Our family had a great stay at Tina’s place. The home was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. All the necessary amenities were provided, including fresh towels, clean bed sheets, and linens. My daughter especially loved the cozy bunk bed—it was a big hit! We would definitely recommend Tina’s place to anyone who doesn’t mind a short bus ride from the main station.

The surroundings of Doris' apartment are simply WONDERFUL, a special place that will make you feel immense regret when you have to leave. The area is really beautiful. They were two seperate rooms with a kitchen. The hosts were really friendly and also provided us with extra Ventilators due to the terrific heat. Over all, Nice stay.

My family had a lovely stay here! Remi’s instruction is clear and detailed. His place is clean and we were able to cook a few meals. Easy transport from the train station via walking or bus+short walk. Very close to Museggmauer, which was fun to visit! Remi’s place is in a quiet neighborhood but close to all the attractions. Great location!
