Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lucerne

We had a wonderful stay with stunning views of Lake Zurich! The home was very clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the peaceful garden in the back and the lake view from the balcony. The location is ideal, just a short drive to scenic towns. It’s about 35 minutes driving to downtown Zurich and Lake Lucerne, making it both tranquil and accessible. Check-in was easy, and the home was well-stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Herbert was smooth and pleasant, he responded quickly to any questions we had. The apartment is very well-maintained, and we truly felt at home. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return!

Both Regula and her husband, Satcha, were extremely helpful and welcoming. They walked us through the entire property, explaining how everything worked....they even had the pool cleaned spotlessly...they had an outdoor pizza oven and a small garden with herbs for your cooking, and lettuce growing which we were welcome to use. The house had everything that we could have possibly needed, and they checked on us a couple of times to make sure that we had everything that we need. I would highly recommend this home for your traveling and vacation needs!

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

We were with our 2 small children in the accommodation and felt very comfortable. Many attractions can be reached in about 20-40 minutes by car, mostly via highway 2. The guided tour is highly recommended.

We stayed at Eden Cottage for 3 nights in mid June, as a family of 4 adults and our dog. Big thanks to our host Martina, who was very prompt and supportive with any of our requests. Checking into the house was very easy, and all house rules were clearly communicated. A Things-To-Do folder made it easy for spontaneous activity ideas. The house is well located in the countryside of Stein am Rhein, and is very close to supermarkets. The railway station, Rhine river and old town are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The house itself is ideal for 4 people and a pet. All amenities are available, and the interior decor is great and thoughtful. The large garden is beautiful with many plants and trees. Our dog really enjoyed himself exploring around the garden. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

Three nights at Heidi's, great. At the same time, we are on the farm with a family environment, and at the same time in complete independence and tranquility. Heidi is a person who likes to please, she is very attentive to her guests, with delicate attentions, while being very discreet. Her good mood is infectious. Regarding the accommodation, the bedding is comfortable, the kitchen functional, all the windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The place has a splendid view of the lake and is close to Rigi, Lucerne...

Just wanted to write a few words here. I cannot describe how lucky I feel to have met these people, and stayed at this gorgeous place. Made an amazing trip so much better. Will think about and hold this place, and these people with me for a very long time. Thank you, I hope to see you guys again. J

It was nice to be so close to Lucerne without being in the crowded areas as we woke and ended the day. I liked being in a neighborhood. Marcel and Dunja were very helpful with recommendations and directions to the market. They were kind and communicated well.

A hotel is to stay and sleep, but this one is an experience. It's not just that you feel at home; it's a paradise. Zita is a great host. She tries to help you as quick as possible.

The Airbnb is nicely decorated and has everything you need. It is small but nice and perfect for a stay of two. Particularly beautiful is the large terrace in front of the house, which offers several seating options. The communication was very reliable and the hosts very helpful. It is a beautiful place that offers a lot, especially in good weather.

Believe the hype! Perfect place to stay for our family of 5 (5 yr old, 3 yr old, 1 yr old). Sabine went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable after our travel from the States, going as far as to grabbing us a few groceries so we wouldn’t have to go out the night we arrived. Sabine’s place was clean and had all the things we needed including a crib, high chair, changing table and toys for the kids. The location was perfect and a close walk to the bus stop and the port. We were only a quick boat ride away from Lucerne and other major towns. Also a block or two away are a small grocery store, butcher, and great bakery. Book Sabine’s place, you won’t regret it.

Unparalleled view and experience! Conveniently located by train and ferry .The hosts are so lovely and welcoming! Even though we arrived late, we were still welcomed and the room was clean and comfortable! It had everything you could possibly need (even a fireplace and charcoal fire for the BBQ). The whole town was almost devoid of tourists and it was so quiet the whole day that you couldn't bear to speak loudly. The lake view was the most special. My mother and I had every meal in the apartment on the balcony. After a long day of sightseeing in the hot weather, swimming in the lake was the best way to cool down and relax. The water was unexpectedly warm and comfortable! If I have the opportunity to visit Switzerland again, I will definitely choose to return here!

The house is located in a super location where there is no noise and no neighbors nearby. We spent 4 days in this house in the middle of April, the weather was fine, we served the table outside, walked a lot, bathed in a warm bathroom that stands in the courtyard. It snowed on the last day and it was beautiful too. Many thanks to the hosts who were always in touch and always promptly answered questions. I also want to note that the house is very functional and it is convenient that you can buy essential products on the spot.

****Exceeded our expectations****h the view are absolutely amazing . Ralf was very responsive and very welcoming. Wish we could have spent more time but needed to move on with our travel plans. Would definitely recommend, loved the personal touch of the very cosy chalet.

We were spontaneously allowed to spend an extended weekend in the Bijou sitterblick. The cottage and surroundings have fully met expectations. We particularly enjoyed the beautifully overgrown outdoor area. Very nice and uncomplicated hosts who nurture and maintain their cottage and the surroundings with a lot of love. Amazing place to stay with jaw dropping views!! Nick and his team were lovely and quick to respond even late at night 🫶🏽The cabins were very clean and well decorated. One thing that stood out was the blinds and the bug screen! Would definitely recommend it everyone!!

Very nice wooden hut with a small pond in the back. Matthias was super friendly and communicative! The location is great for exploring the surroundings. Quiet location, beautiful surroundings and with a small wellness area, it simply has a feel-good character! I'd come back anytime
