Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lucerne

We had a wonderful stay with stunning views of Lake Zurich! The home was very clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the peaceful garden in the back and the lake view from the balcony. The location is ideal, just a short drive to scenic towns. It’s about 35 minutes driving to downtown Zurich and Lake Lucerne, making it both tranquil and accessible. Check-in was easy, and the home was well-stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Herbert was smooth and pleasant, he responded quickly to any questions we had. The apartment is very well-maintained, and we truly felt at home. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return!

Regula und Sascha sind warmherzige, bezaubernde, fröhliche, positve, bodenständige und grosszügige Gastgeber:innen - sie waren uns auf Anhieb sympathisch. Die persönliche Schlüsselüber- und abgabe haben wir sehr geschätzt. Ihr Cottage ist ein Juwel, ihr Garten ein kleines Paradies. Sie haben für uns Spaghetti und Sauce bereit gestellt, wir durften von ihrem Salat und ihren Kräutern essen, sie haben wertvolle Restaurant-Tipps gegeben usw. Es war einfach rundum Alles stimmig. Wir danken den Beiden sehr herzlich und können uns gut vorstellen, wieder einmal an diesen besonderen Ort zu kommen.

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kleinkindern in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in ca. 20-40 min Autofahrt meist über die Autobahn 2 zu erreichen . Die Hofführung ist sehr empfehlenswert.

We stayed at Eden Cottage for 3 nights in mid June, as a family of 4 adults and our dog. Big thanks to our host Martina, who was very prompt and supportive with any of our requests. Checking into the house was very easy, and all house rules were clearly communicated. A Things-To-Do folder made it easy for spontaneous activity ideas. The house is well located in the countryside of Stein am Rhein, and is very close to supermarkets. The railway station, Rhine river and old town are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The house itself is ideal for 4 people and a pet. All amenities are available, and the interior decor is great and thoughtful. The large garden is beautiful with many plants and trees. Our dog really enjoyed himself exploring around the garden. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!

Dieser Bungalow ist einfach ein absolutes Schmuckstück. Jedes Detail in diesem Haus zeugt von viel Liebe und Stil. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. So war der Whirlpool bereits aufgeheizt und parat für uns. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist da. Weiter lädt das bequeme Sofa zu gemütlichen Abenden ein und später wartet ein sehr bequemes Bett auf einen. Fabienne ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die proaktiv kommuniziert und sehr grosszügig ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

In Schuss gehaltenes Einfamlienhaus an bester Lage am See, in der Nähe Bahnhof und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man kann soviel unternehmen - Sport, Wandern, Velo, See, Museen. Sehr nette Vermieter die immer Zeit für einen haben.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

Trois nuits chez Heidi , super. A la fois on se trouve dans la ferme avec un environnement familial, et à la fois en toute indépendance et tranquillité. Heidi est une personne qui aime faire plaisir, elle est au petit soin avec ses hôtes, avec de délicates attentions, tout en étant très discrète. sa bonne humeur est communicative. concernant le logement, la literie est confortable, la cuisine fonctionnelle, toutes les fenêtres sont équipées de moustiquaires. Le lieu possède une vue splendide sur le lac et est à proximité du Rigi, de Lucerne....

Just wanted to write a few words here. I cannot describe how lucky I feel to have met these people, and stayed at this gorgeous place. Made an amazing trip so much better. It was nice to be so close to Lucerne without being in the crowded areas as we woke and ended the day. I liked being in a neighborhood. Marcel and Dunja were very helpful with recommendations and directions to the market. They were kind and communicated well.

Das Airbnb ist schön eingerichtet und verfügt über alles nötige. Es ist klein aber fein und für ein Aufenthalt zu zwei perfekt geeignet. Besonders schön ist die grosse Terrasse vor dem Haus, die mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten bietet. Die Kommunikation war sehr zuverlässig und die Hosts sehr hilfsbereit. Es ist ein schöner Ort, der vor allem bei gutem Wetter viel bietet.

Believe the hype! Perfect place to stay for our family of 5 (5 yr old, 3 yr old, 1 yr old). Sabine went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable after our travel from the States, going as far as to grabbing us a few groceries so we wouldn’t have to go out the night we arrived. Sabine’s place was clean and had all the things we needed including a crib, high chair, changing table and toys for the kids. The location was perfect and a close walk to the bus stop and the port. We were only a quick boat ride away from Lucerne and other major towns. Also a block or two away are a small grocery store, butcher, and great bakery. Book Sabine’s place, you won’t regret it.

Unparalleled view and experience! Conveniently located by train and ferry .The hosts are so lovely and welcoming! Even though we arrived late, we were still welcomed and the room was clean and comfortable! It had everything you could possibly need (even a fireplace and charcoal fire for the BBQ). The whole town was almost devoid of tourists and it was so quiet the whole day that you couldn't bear to speak loudly. The lake view was the most special. My mother and I had every meal in the apartment on the balcony. After a long day of sightseeing in the hot weather, swimming in the lake was the best way to cool down and relax. The water was unexpectedly warm and comfortable! If I have the opportunity to visit Switzerland again, I will definitely choose to return here!

Wir waren schon zum zweiten mal Gast in dieser wunderschönen Alpenhütte und das sagt wahrscheinlich schon alles! :) Unser erster Aufenthalt in der Vorweihnachtszeit 2023 hätte mit frischem Neuschnee kaum schöner sein können. Auch diesmal Anfang März hatten wir traumhaftes Wetter - noch etwas Schnee, jeden Tag Sonnenschein und blauen Himmel - da können wir uns kaum einen erholsameren Ort als Cortinella vorstellen. Das Alpenpanorama in der Ruhe der Natur und natürlich der Hot Tub sind die Highlights in diesem Urlaubsparadies, wo es uns an nichts gefehlt hat - außer vielleicht genügend Urlaubstagen ;-) Hoffentlich kommen wir bald wieder!

****Exceeded our expectations****h the view are absolutely amazing . Ralf was very responsive and very welcoming. Wish we could have spent more time but needed to move on with our travel plans. Would definitely recommend, loved the personal touch of the very cosy chalet.

Wir durften ganz spontan ein verlängertes Wochenende im bijou sitterblick verbringen. Das Häuschen und die Umgebung haben die Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Besonders gefallen hat uns der wunderschön überwachsene Aussenbereich. Sehr nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeber, die ihr Ferienhäuschen und die Umgebung mit viel Liebe hegen und pflegen. Amazing place to stay with jaw dropping views!! Nick and his team were lovely and quick to respond even late at night 🫶🏽The cabins were very clean and well decorated. One thing that stood out was the blinds and the bug screen! Would definitely recommend it everyone!!

Wir waren zu acht und haben eine super Zeit in Zuhause von Luana verbracht. Alles war wie beschrieben und das Beste am ganzen war für uns die Sauna - der perfekte Abschluss nach einer schönen Wanderung. Immer wieder gerne!

Sehr schöne Holzhütte mit einem kleinen Teich im hinteren Bereich. Matthias war super freundlich und kommunikativ! Die Lage ist super um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Ruhige Lage, schöne Umgebung und mit einem kleinen Wellnessbreich, hat einfach Wohlfühlcharakter! Jederzeit wieder
