Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Madeira Island

One month stay in this attic style apartment on top floor of a 4-storey building. It is well-equipped, very well supplied and well furnished. The two excellent terraces have good furniture, lovely views and are private. The apartment is a 2-minute walk to the pedestrian promenade that leads to the Lido area and Formosa Beach and 8 minutes to the main road, bus stops and a good supermarket. Beatrice (the host) responded quickly before and during the stay and Paulo (her local agent) was welcoming - and there were also some nice welcome gifts. The internet worked well in the main living space and one of the terraces. The apartment building was generally quiet; you can hear construction noise from the nearby Dubai Madeira development - but not disturbing. The AC was not effective. Beatrice responded positively to my concerns, provided a portable fan (which helped) and has advised that new AC units will be fitted. Overall, a very good apartment and I have booked to return.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very cozy and had everything we needed. Great view! The city is incredibly beautiful, with so much to explore and enjoy. Claudia also provided a very detailed guide that made everything so easy – from getting around to finding the best local spots. Highly recommend!!

We’ve enjoyed the stay at Tony’s apartment. It was easy to get there with very clear instructions. Ocean view was fantastic. We’d everything needed, including washing things. I would like to have some more coffee.

Airbnb is very pleasant, as described and photographed. Lino our host picked us up from the airport, and took us directly to airbnb. Great communication before and during the stay. The apartment is really nice, well lit, and has a nice view. Very well organized kitchen with lots of dishes, large fridge, microwave and hob , which is nice, living room with sofa, tv, bedroom with double bed, large closet, desk, air conditioning and open ocean view. Everything was perfect, we even got a regional cake when we arrived. I would highly recommend this airbnb

Great place to stay , Maria is very responsive and helpful. The apartment was the same as described: clean and spacious with all amenities, including parking.

The accommodation is very very clean and very comfortable. Very well decorated with unobstructed sea views from the bedroom and private balcony as well as the surrounding nature. The garden available is very nice and lush with banana trees, sunbeds and tables, barbecue etc. The washing machine is very nice when hiking. Lots of nice hikes nearby. Sabino and his family are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Lots of little touches like garden fruits, Madeira specialties. We would highly recommend!! Obrigada Sabino

A nice and clean apartment with a very nice view - we had a great stay :) Tip: drive up the road to the house from above as it is very steep and narrow - the parking space is not for big cars😉

We had a fantastic stay at Filipe’s home, which is beautiful and really thoughtfully designed. It’s very well appointed, spotlessly clean and in a very charming little village away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal, but still accessible by car. Communication was excellent and the fruit and biscuits were a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place at a great price. So many spaces to enjoy. Pristine condition. We really enjoyed the local restaurants and bars up the hill, amazing atmosphere. Very close to main roads so day trips are easy. Carlos was the perfect host, so many local recommendations and information. He was flexible when we wanted to check in some hours earlier than agreed. All the different keys were a bit confusing but otherwise loved the place.

Stunning location and views, very clean place, the drive up to the airbnb is a little tedious but not too bad. Extremely responsive and communicative hosts. We were sad to leave but would definitely rebook!

This house is located in verry silent part of the city. Outside was cozy with nice garden, birds and stunning view to ocean. Indoor was also nice and cozy, but with bugs from time to time. Kitchen had everything we needed. Parking was available on the street, near the house. Comminication was verry good. We liked this place.

This place is SO beautiful. The rooms are really big, it is a great location. I went on vacation with my family and this was a great place to stay. I can't wait to come back!

We spent a week at the accommodation and it couldn't have been better. The location is, as described, a bit outside the city of Funchal, but we also wanted that. Here you have your peace and can start the day on the balcony. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you needed. Check-in & out was easy and straightforward. The location was great for daily excursions around the island. We usually went into the city with Bolt (8-10 € for a route). We never used buses. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and the view is really a dream. Only the bed could have been a little more comfortable, it was quite hard. Otherwise a great place to stay!

An ecological, modern and comfortable apartment in a beautiful and sunny area of Madeira. The accommodation in front of the ocean, equipped with every comfort - including private parking, which is a plus in Madeira - and attention to the smallest details made our stay perfect. Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.
