The DG apartment is clean and bright as described. Amenities, everything you need. Lovely views of the region (Tesserete), especially the view towards San Sanlvatore. Public transport in the immediate vicinity, but by car you are more flexible. Many beautiful hiking opportunities are recommended, including Denti della Vecchia.

Daniela was a fantastic host!! Her place was lovely and perfectly located. She gave us a great list of recommendations and cannot thanks her enough!! We would love to stay in her place again when we come back.

Marugg's place exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Lugano was our final stop on our 2 week family trip through Italy. We experienced many beautiful places throughout the 2 weeks but Marugg's place exceeded them all!!! The attention to detail was phenomenal. The location was 'perfetto,' the views spectacular and the home pristine. Our grandchildren made excellent use of the pool and the outdoor space was incredible! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the expansive patio area soaking in the tranquil views of the lake and all of the beautiful flowers. The smell of honeysuckle abounded outdoors ~ Marugg's home truly encompassed all of the senses. We cannot recommend it enough and we can't wait to return on our next visit to see our Swiss family! I booked a one-night stay en route from Luzern to Milan. The listing was as described, and though it was fairly bare bones, I had everything I needed for a short stay. It was away from the crowded areas though still easily commutable by bus and even walkable. The view of the lake was lovely, and I especially loved the honeysuckle-lined path to the garden.

We loved Romana and Dietrich's house and the location. The lake and mountain views are fantastic, the house is bright and spacious, with views in all rooms! Plus CDs and a great playlist! And especially a big thank you to Romana and Dietrich for their friendly welcome, their attention, and the time they spent with us. We already want to come back and we highly recommend this wonderful place!

Incredible location with an amazing view.

The accommodation is in a fantastically beautiful location – ideal for relaxing. Andrea and Raffi were very warm, wonderfully uncomplicated and helpful, we felt welcome from the first moment. Everything was very clean and lovingly furnished, you can tell that a lot of heart is put into it. We will be happy to come back!

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! Perfect. Cinzia's house is exceptional, full of light, flowers, tasteful details. It has two balconies that are oriented in opposite directions, so the views are different in the morning and in the afternoon, we enjoy them a lot. Cinzia left us coffee, dairy, cookies, butter, jam and fruit so we had practically everything for breakfast, and a delicious wine to enjoy on the balcony. We also surprisingly received a lemon cake that was exquisite. Cinzia is truly an exceptional host who cares about every detail and did what was necessary to make us very comfortable. Access from the central train station is a 10-minute walk and less than 150 meters away you can access metro lines 2 and 3 (green and yellow), so the location is excellent. We are very grateful that Cinzia opened the doors of her home to us and we emphatically recommend this property.

The building is not modern but central and by car thanks to the opposite parking lot very practical. The apartment was clean and nothing was missing. Even with the narrow lift, it is a matter of habit. All in all highly recommended with courteous and helpful landlords. Thank you Fiorella

Beautiful apartment, great area for bars/ restaurants and easy access to Metro. From start to finish Francesca was super helpful, super response with great recommendations. Would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend!

We were there for a family wedding which was nearby so was the perfect location. The building had been an old monastery which has been sympathetically and very tastefully renovated it was fantastic we had our own courtyard with loungers table and chairs, beautiful touches throughout can’t rate our stay highly enough 100%. What stood out was Luca himself he helped us enormously. We had a family dinner planned in the neighbouring town but found it impossible to get a taxi bearing in mind it was a Sunday and maybe not as many available even Luca tried but no luck so he took us in his car to the venue which I thought was amazing khe also helped to carry our luggage when we arrived and when we left very very helpful.5stars for the house and 6stars for the host.

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

The apartment gave the real Italian feeling. The pattio and garden were amazing and gave an relaxing enviroment. And the views over Lago di Como was breathtaking. Could sit outside and just enjoy the view and silence for hours. Would absolutly stay there again.

Loved staying here in Perledo! The apartment was clean and had everything we need for our stay! Selena was extremely helpful when it came to trying to figure out the train disruption in Varenna. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area!

This is a great place to live. You have a fantastic view from the large balcony and you have it all to yourself. Very private. The large kitchen is very well equipped. There are also several basic products for cooking. We were greeted with cookies, chips and jam and a nice bottle of Italian sparkling wine. In addition to the kitchen, there is also a large living room with a seating area and TV. Upstairs, there are three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Also cozy balcony on the first floor The house is large and suitable for several people. The house is about 150 meters from the road. You can get there via a stone path. You can park along the street. The host Anna Mariaen her daughter are very nice, everything is well arranged and we felt very welcome. There are many small beaches and Menaggio nearby. We'd love to come back.

Great location, the appartement is nice but it is the location that really makes it an incredible stay. Not just lake Como in general but also having 2 restaurants downstairs.

The accommodation is located above the village and therefore has a great view of Lake Como. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning but a fan is available and although we had 30 degrees during the day, you could ventilate well in the evening and also sleep well. The pool is large and surrounded by a lot of meadow. We arrived with a child and were able to relax well.

Marissa & Antonello were wonderful hosts for us staying in Milan for 5 days. Proactive communication from booking and gave us detailed instructions to get to their apartment from the train station. They then showed us around the apartment and complex so we could get around easily. They were always on hand to give us further information about the city & the apartment and left us enough amenities to last us for the duration of our stay. The apartment itself was very clean and modern with a peaceful environment from other residents. Would 100% stay here again if I come back to Milan.

I agree with the very good comments already made. The magnificent view combined with the cozy side of the apartment. Lots of beautiful things in the area. Car necessary in my opinion, otherwise a little less than 1 kilometer of hill. I loved it

Had a great time at this apartment! The place is perfectly in line with the description: clean, well decorated and very well equipped. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the bathroom is impeccable.

Antonio is an exemplary host! Nothing was too much trouble, his responses to our requests were immediate and he couldn’t have been more helpful. The views, location and ambiance are 5 star plus! Styling was minimalistic but on point. We loved the vibe and it’s the perfect couples retreat. Highly recommended! As hosts ourselves we know how important it is to communicate and provide a bespoke experience for our guests and Antonio exceeded all expectations!
