I have just put in this apartment. So everything is new. A very relaxing view of the lake from a private patio. Also, if you are lucky, you can see deer that come through early morning or late evening. My location is off 22, 1.4 miles south of 8 Mile Rd. Eight Mile Rd runs off 22 and 31. I am across the street from the lake. Second house on the right on private paved drive . I have a black bear mailbox at the end of my driveway. Makes it easy to know where to turn into the drive.

The Main floor of this home with it's own Private Entrance, one Kingsize bed, one bathroom and a large kitchen. It is on a nice grassy lot with a long driveway. Easy walking distance to anything downtown, restaurants, shopping, etc. Both beaches are walkable, as well, but you might want to take the short drive if you are hauling coolers and beach toys. FYI - There is an upper level with 2 beds/1 bath available in your rental for additional fee.

We loved staying here! The place was cozy and peaceful and we felt at home right away. The area was quiet with very few neighbors. Sarah thought of everything, including food/water bowls and treats for our pup! The highlight was the fully stocked kitchen - we cooked most meals during our stay and whenever we realized we forgot something, it seemed to magically appear in a kitchen drawer. We would love to return next time we take a trip to the area!

This is an exceptional place to stay. The house was very clean, inviting, well organized with everything we could need. It is clear the host has put a lot of thought and effort into making their guests comfortable (for example a Welcome Basket, plenty of towels, everything you might need for cooking, everything clearly labelled, etc.). And with the location within walking distance of downtown and five minute drive to the beach you can’t go wrong. We would definitely stay again!

This is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with a short walk down to the lake. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin, which offered the perfect amount of space for the two of us. The cabin is spotless and well-supplied with needed items. We also enjoyed visiting the Dublin General Store, downtown Manistee for the river walk, cute shops and restaurants, and a day on the Lake Michigan beach.
