What a great house! Spacious, modern and light and airy! It had everything we needed and a bonus was having the pool available in October too! It’s location is perfect for using public transport and Is only a 2 minute walk to the train station.

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa enjoys beautiful views to the rear, side and front, and the space within is roomy and well-appointed. Air con throughout was very helpful to cool rooms before sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, and ate every meal outside on the shaded terrace. The concierge, Jonathan, went above and beyond - meeting us at the property to explain how the pool alarm works, answering queries promptly and being especially amenable and generous when we experienced car problems. The local area is lovely - we enjoyed trips to Eus, Villefranche and a slightly further-afield trip to Collioure on the coast (recommended). There is a very well-priced and delicious bakery within easy walking distance of the villa, and a large supermarket within an easy 10-15 minute drive. Our children enjoyed the (discreet) visits from The Pool Guy, who came to keep the pool in tip-top condition throughout our stay. He was friendly and kind to their inquisitiveness.

We felt right at home. Intimacy, autonomy, and all the amenities to make a comfortable and enjoyable stay there. They were good vacnces

A family stay 3 adults, 2 teenagers each had their own space. Great! The arrival through the garage door is surprising as is the bedroom on the ground floor which has a small window with no view. The downside is really the no sound insulation between the downstairs bedroom and upstairs. Very well-equipped accommodation with a rooftop terrace overlooking the Canigou! A peaceful and cool place after a day of beach. Or even breakfast in the sun with the ball of the swallows. A guaranteed change of scenery in Conflent.

We had a wonderful stay in Eus. Annabel and Adrian are fantastic hosts and their place felt like a home away from home. We love cooking so was very happy to find the kitchen stocked with everything you could need. Eus is a beautiful place to stay and Annabel & Adrian gave great recommendations of where to visit. Would recommend staying here to anyone who would like to stay in the beautiful French countryside. Lovely pool which catches the sun most of the day. And the views, astronomical! A bientôt

Great house with spacious communal spaces inside and outside. lovely pool and fantastic views across the valley to the mountains. And a great selection of pots and pans in the kitchen including some really big ones, which is so often lacking in other places I've stayed, and makes self catering so much more enjoyable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable experience in Joch with two exceptional hosts. Our stay in Joch was wonderful thanks to Françoise and Olivier. From the first moment, they welcomed us with great kindness and made us feel at home. The house is beautiful, clean, with incredible views and surrounded by nature. Everything was perfectly clean and cared for down to the last detail. They were attentive and always available, giving us good advice on what to visit and where to shop. Thanks to his directions, we discovered charming places like Castelnou, Vinça and Besalú. We also appreciate the small gestures, and the attention to our dog Kira, who was welcome at all times. The setting is perfect for relaxing, disconnecting and enjoying family time. Françoise and Olivier and their son are exceptional hosts who take care of every detail and convey a lot of warmth. We had an amazing few days at Carolina and Ed’s home. The property was absolutely idyllic, stunning views and incredibly peaceful with plenty of privacy, though Carolina and Ed were always available if we needed to check anything. It was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable, with everything we needed and plenty of personal touches. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the veranda in the shade, but there’s more to do, including walks down to the river (including some great places to take a dip). The baker’s van arrived in the village every morning with fresh bread and pastries, and the town of Vinça (lovely lake to swim in) and the beautiful village of Eus are a short drive away. Carolina and Ed were wonderful hosts and we’d certainly visit again. Highly recommended!
