If you are wanting a nice, quiet place to escape all of life’s craziness, this is the place for you! We loved the quiet, peacefulness. It is far enough out get away from everything yet close enough to several things to do. The cabin was lovely and very clean.

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful home in Gray, TX, right on Caddo Lake. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and packed with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. From the private boat ramp to the hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and spacious covered patio, every detail was thoughtfully designed for comfort and enjoyment. Austin, the host, was absolutely amazing—friendly, responsive, and clearly passionate about creating a top-notch experience. He’s put so much care and beautiful work into this home, and it really shows. It’s the perfect place for lake lovers, families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful escape with top-tier amenities. We just moved to the area and this place was perfect with the on site clean storage! Very peaceful and private setting to relax and enjoy the outdoors. At night, put the phone away and listen to the frog and owl sounds, they are a joy to listen to. Thanks for making our extended stay so memorable!

It was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how much more beautiful it was in person than I had imagined. The cabin is tucked away by a lake, offering the perfect retreat for relaxation and a break from the everyday hustle. The space was not only incredibly comfortable but also thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a smooth stay. Every little detail was taken care of, from cozy blankets to a beautiful laid out robes– it felt like a true home away from home. And if I needed anything extra, the host was always just a message away, super helpful and quick to respond. The peaceful surroundings allowed me to unwind fully. Whether it was sipping coffee on the porch or curling up with a book by the fireplace, every moment was pure bliss. I genuinely didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and recharge, this cabin is perfect. I couldn’t recommend enough! I will for sure be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was exactly as pictured. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet. The ability to use the neighborhood boat ramp was amazing and made trips to the lake quick and easy. Marissa was super easy to communicate with and answered any questions quickly. We will definitely be booking again!

Stayed in the Sproul cabin, very nice setup along the lake. Great views and local, loved the fire pit at night and all the provided wood. We were in town for an event at nearby Barnwell mountain so didn't get to spend enough time at the cabin, but looking forward to staying next year!

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

This place is absolutely beautiful, very clean and private. Luckily this place is walking distance to my dad’s house so I will definitely be back soon. The place was extremely clean and beyond comfortable. Great fishing in the pond and so relaxing . To not hesitate to book this place . There is a bridge you must cross and it’s a little steep but manageable and kinda fun. Skip was an awesome host and very quick to respond. 10/10

This place is a cute hidden gem! very peaceful & quiet. the house has everything you would need. the upgraded bedding & lines are much appreciated. My fur babies loved enjoying the outdoors chasing squirrels. The host was very friendly & responsive! loved the water pressure in the shower! we will be back!

Took my gbabies for a night little pricey for one night yet worth it, with a kayak and 3 seat boat, beautiful place, fish were biting, they were so thrilled and didn't want to leave!! I will definitely do this again!!

Second time to stay here. Love the peacefulness, serenity, and security. Used the Merlin bird app while sitting on the porch and walking the trails and it identified a large number of different types of birds. Visited Daingerfield State Park, Caddo Lake State Park and Wildlife Refuge plus the Veteran’s Memorial and Eiffel Tower in Paris. All are easy drives from the house. After leaving, also visited Busy B Ranch Wildlife Park in Jefferson. Always enjoy driving the scenic back roads in the area. Looking forward to coming back.

The cabin was beautiful. it was so peaceful to sit outside. We saw plenty of deer that came right in the backyard, we also saw some fox. My 7 year old granddaughter loved seeing all of the wildlife. I would definitely stay there again. Just wish I had more time to enjoy the amenities.

This was my first time using Airbnb, and I was blown away by how accommodating the hosts were. They were friendly and checked in on us since we had to drive across Texas. I will be recommending their booking to all of my friends and family. The cabin was perfect and I enjoyed saying hi to their ouos every morning.

We enjoyed the cabin feel and that we were able to book the cabin last minute! We decided to come a day early and my husband loves the outdoors so this was perfect for him to have space to get out and roam after our drive! The beds weren’t super comfy but for a cabin I was surprised at how nice and welcoming it all was!

We spent three nights at Eve's cabin in mid-April. It was SO much more than listed, the photos don't do it justice. The house was spotless. LOVED the layout and it was decorated so perfectly, exactly as you would expect a cabin to be. It was just perfect for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and quiet. We spent most of our time on the deck, enjoying the peace and quiet. We fished a little, but mostly just sat and watched the water go by! We will definitely be visiting again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful new cabin on Caddo Lake! Everything was spotless and well thought out. The cabin itself is cozy, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing getaway. The highlight for us was the covered boat dock—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, easy access to the lake or watching the sun go down over the water. It was also super convenient having a dedicated fish cleaning station right on the dock after a day on the lake (if you like to fish this is the place to be). If you’re looking for peace, nature, and great fishing, this is the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We loved the peace & quiet of Abernathy Ranch. A very nice home with great accommodations. We would recommend this Airbnb over and over again!
