Unique and cozy cottage by the lake

Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large slope plot on the shores of the pristine Lake Storträsk. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Just a 35-minute drive from Helsinki and airport, in the forrest of our House Kekkapaa ; a perfect romantic weekend getaway if you want to enjoy a private wood-fired sauna ( only in your use ) , the peaceful Espoo countryside, and the surrounding nature. We are within walking distance of Lake Myllyjärvi and Backby Manor with its spa and restaurant services. On our farm, you’ll also find dogs, horses, a cat, and chickens. The cabin was originally designed by an architect family for themselves.

Cottage on a private island

Cozy cabin on a private island by a sea bay. Enjoy stunning views from the deck and peaceful surroundings. Guests have access to a rowing boat, canoe, SUP-board, grill, and sauna. The cabin has a small kitchen, electricity, and an outdoor toilet. Sleeps max. 4 adults and 2 kids. No running water, but it can be carried from the mainland, and hosts bring the first batch for drinking and washing. The sauna has a rechargeable showerhead for rinses. A perfect spot for a simple, relaxing getaway.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.
