Holiday rentals with lake access in McGaheysville

We enjoyed our stay in Massanutten. Lots to do and beautiful views with the leaves changing. We enjoyed the dining within the resort and the indoor waterpark. Outside of the resort we explored a winery and brewery as well as local playgrounds. Neighborhood was quiet. Place was dog friendly and comfortable. We would recommend and stay here again if in the area. Paul and Gwen were great hosts and consistently communicated throughout our stay.

The house was well out into the country with a beautiful view. Very quiet, but I think there must have been a river nearby because trucks carrying canoes went up and down the road a number of times a day. We saw a ton of deer. One word of warning is if you drive to the house towards evening and after, go slowly as deer run out into the road. We wanted for nothing - pretty much everything we needed was at the house. Other owners could take a lesson from Edward. There were a ton of spices for cooking, many cooking utensils, coffee and filters, even bathroom items like shampoo, Q-tips and cotton balls. The house was well equipped.

Well appointed home in a great location. The house had lots of little amenities that were great for a family. The living room was cozy and well suited for everything we needed. Kristin was responsive and helpful when we needed anything

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend on the water at Gary's home. Excellent spot for kayaking, and the provided kayaks were in great shape for it. The fire pit was a big hit as well. Would absolutely rent this place again.

Shiloh Lodge, which my friends and I have renamed, Chateau Shiloh, was everything we could have hope for and more. Sadly, it rained 3 of our 5 days but it didn’t matter. This home was so comfortable and welcoming and relaxing; we didn’t care we were rained in. There were puzzles and games and books and great streaming services to keep us occupied. However, we barely used those amenities. We spent those days cooking and talking and sitting in the rocking chairs looking out the sliding glass doors and watched and listened to the rain, watched the wild life and of course, looked out at the beautiful mountains and the river. If you need a place of peace of mind, body, and spirit renewal, Shiloh Lodge is the place. We thank you so much, Diana , for such a wonderful experience. Take care.

One word - Fantastic! We rented the house for a family vacation with toddlers and infants and this was the perfect house. The house is very clean, well maintained and has all the amenities you can ask for! If you have infants, they provide cribs, changing stations, high chairs, etc. All the amenities were top notch and communication with Erika and Germain was a breeze. They are proactive and are constantly in touch with you throughout the stay. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we cannot wait to come back here again.

We were in Luray for a family wedding and am so glad we discovered Joseph House. It's a beautiful historic home surrounded by gorgeous, peaceful scenery. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city!

Sweet cabin in the woods , easy to get to , easy to find with her instructions. We needed a-lace to retreat to had a family wedding was there for a week and I needed a full kitchen, did not disappoints the kitchen had everything we actually needed even though I brought a few extra things her kitchen as well stocked. The grill we did not use, but it’s easy accessible. There’s a great picnic table outside, and a fire pit. We might have to come back just to utilize those peace and quiet and beautiful things. It was very comfortable. We never actually touched the temperature controls but everything is easy and explained and for us everything was perfect. The beds are comfortable, place is a peaceful cabin in the woods,!

This was the second stay at Vickie's for me. The location stands out for its peace. natural beauty and charming gardens. Vickie really is a terrific host. She is warm, positive, flexible, and eager to ensure your stay is a good one. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. I'd recommend morning coffee in one of the big, comfortable chairs near the bird feeder!

Such a cool spot. Only got to stay for a hot minute so didn't get to explore nearly enough. Definitely want to come back for a longer stay to enjoy the amendities and see Shenandoah!

This is my second time here. Love the quiet, and relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect for what I needed.

Perfect for a quick getaway for my friends and I! The best part was being super close to the ski slopes/snow tubing and the late check out. We originally planned on just one day of skiing and snowboarding, but got to get in a couple extra hours with the late check out and close proximity. Thanks Carissa!

We enjoyed our stay in the White Locus Suite! Right outside of our bedroom, we had a kitchen to cook in. The jacuzzi bath and actual hot tub outside were very relaxing. We enjoyed it being so relaxing, we decided to book another week! :)

This was my second stay at White Locus Eco Resort. Each suite is a different experience. The barn was very quiet and made a great place to work remotely. It was fun meeting guests in common areas across the resort and everyone was respectful. This is a great retreat for both extroverted and introverted alike. I will return soon! Such a great place to stay! The place was super clean and had everything you needed, plus some snacks and a lovely coffee bar! It was decorated so perfectly. My husband loved the pond and caught several fish! It was such a relaxing day and I would definitely stay again! Taby was a great host and communicated very well about all of the details.
