Enjoy your stay in the lovingly furnished vacation home that leaves nothing to be desired. The small conservatory and also the outdoor area with terrace and our lounge furniture promise beautiful evenings no matter what the weather. Modern holiday home in the heart of the Grabfeld

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. Liebe potenzielle Gäste: Ob auf der Durchreise, für eine kleine Auszeit oder aber für länger - unsere Wohnung ist schnell erreichbar und ein guter Ort, um abends zu entspannen - z.B. auf dem Balkon mit Weitblick. Das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer ist sehr bequem, sodass man gut in zwei Räumen schlafen kann. Im Ort gibt es ein schönes Freibad und gute Gastronomie - drumherum viel Wald. Unser Café hat wochentags ab 6 bzw. am Wochenende ab 7 Uhr Frühstück.

Elderflower House

Our house is located in Rüdenschwinden in one of the most beautiful low mountain ranges in Germany. Rüdenschwinden is a small, charming village not far from the Schwarzes Moor and Fladungen. The vacation home is detached and surrounded by a 600 square meter, fully fenced garden. Here everyone will find a place to relax, play or linger. Dogs are also welcome. The property has a car parking space. From the two balconies you can enjoy a scenic view.

The house is modern and the garden offers plenty of space for free development. Perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof in the winter months, and great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more in the rest of the year. The sauna and hot tub need preparation. If you want to use it, please let us know after booking. We also have a pool that you are welcome to use in the summer by arrangement.

In the 2-story accommodation, the bathroom, a bedroom, and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the first floor. Upstairs are another bedroom and the living room. The quiet garden invites you to linger and relax. Two sun loungers are also available in summer. Feel free to use the organic herbs and vegetables from the in-house greenhouse. Frankenheim/Rhön is the ideal starting point for both city and nature excursions.
