The vacation rental is located in Melkendorf, a district of Litzendorf. We are located in Franconian Tuscany, which forms the gateway to Franconian Switzerland. Thanks to its location in the Ellertal valley at the foot of the Franconian Jura, the municipality is considered part of northern Franconian Switzerland. So, you can get started exploring the region practically right away. With us, you can experience unspoiled nature, numerous hiking trails, and many attractions, all with the added benefit of being within a 10-minute drive of Bamberg.

In the small wooden house surrounded by half-timbered houses in the quiet village center, you can relax and enjoy the nature of nearby Franconian Switzerland. The loft-like ecological wooden construction makes the apartment unique. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove. There is also underfloor heating in the bathroom and adjoining room. In the secluded garden area, a sauna, cold water shower with bathtub, sun loungers and dining area are at your disposal. The surroundings entice with numerous outdoor activities.

Baroque apartment at the Old Town Hall 1

A very special apartment in a dream location with a view of the Bamberg City Hall, stylishly furnished with antiques. The front building was erected in 1530, and the water side followed in 1640. Originally a half-timbered house that was plastered during the Baroque period in the 17th century. The facade was restored in May 2026 with a lot of love for detail and now shines again in full splendor next to the city hall. The house was purchased by my grandparents in 1968; before that, it was a pharmacy for 200 years.

Our newly expanded apartment in 2022 is located at the gates of Bamberg in the municipality of Memmelsdorf. From there you have a beautiful view towards Bamberg, Seehof Castle and the Steigerwald. Located at the gateway to Franconian Tuscany, there is a wide range of excursion opportunities. Among other things, you will also find Franconian Switzerland and the Steigerwald. Cyclists and hikers will also get their money's worth thanks to the well-developed cycling and hiking trail network.

Our cozy house (about 60 m2) is idyllically located in Schesslitz right at the entrance to the beautiful Burglesau Valley. Here you will find not only a charming accommodation, but also the perfect starting point for hiking, biking or simply relaxing days in nature. In addition to its historic old town, Scheßlitz also offers you all the necessities of daily life. In a few minutes you can reach Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage City with a unique flair. Newly renovated, modern apartment + bikes

Modern, newly renovated, quiet and fully equipped one bedroom apartment in a very good location. In addition, I offer two bikes that can be used free of charge by you. The bathroom is large and the kitchenette is separated from the sleeping area. By foot it is only about 15 minutes to the old town, you walk along the river. There is free parking. In the fully equipped kitchenette, there are two plates, as well as a microwave with baking function.
