Apartment holiday rentals in Menaggio

Nice location, close to Ferry/taxi. Towns not very big so close to the restaurants and shops that are available. Walking just to the bottom of the steps for Cappuccino's and cornetto's was heaven on earth with the view of the lake. This place is just missing the small details, shower soap, shampoo, extra toiletries etc. Windows had no blinds but that personal preference since I like my room dark when I sleep. Just needs a few touches to feel like an Airbnb instead of someone's home that just left same day. Host were really nice and responsive. All in all nice place and the lake....wow, wow, so beautiful. Will be back. if I had to rate 7 out of 10

We had a very nice stay at Casa Andrea. The location is perfect, restaurant , bars and shops all in walking distance. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Also, it is easy to get around without a car: bus and boats are nearby. We would choose Casa Andrea again

Where do we start? Magda, Enrico and their son are truly 5 star hosts. Their home is steps away from the town of Menaggio making it super convenient for my wife and 2 year old daughter. The views from the outdoor patio are amazing. The home had everything we needed for our daughter (crib, changing table set up, high chair). They are unbelievable hosts who were attentive and answered any questions we had throughout our 3 night stay almost instantly. We would stay here again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you for the incredible stay!

We had a wonderful stay, everything just as described. Bonus it’s on the main level and one of the first homes up that street (lots of walking and hills in general in bellagio so it was nice to reach our stay a little easier then some ;) there were a couple occasions other tourists were walking with us and would comment “oh wish we lived here or were already here” as they had much farther walks from town

⸻ We had a wonderful stay. The location was absolutely beautiful, and the apartment was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. The hosts were great with communication and made everything easy from start to finish. It was just a short walk into the main town, which had excellent connections for exploring the rest of the lake. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

The views are even better than the photos! It was absolutely beautiful, what a special place to stay. We loved the spa facilities too and the host was really friendly and helpful. Fully recommend!

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

This is by far the most beautiful property my partner and I have stayed in. Jennifer & Nico were incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful with every aspect of the stay. The place itself has stunning views and the interior is flawlessly curated. The pictures don’t quite do justice to how magnificent it is. We had a perfect time & would highly recommend to anyone.

The view is adorable. The location is the best. Car park is crucial to enjoy your stay and it was available upon request for free.

Beautiful home, very easy steps to get into the property. Quick responses, helpful owners who are very accommodating. Amazing location int he heart of Como. Not far from the train station. The cleaner is also very lovely and was so kind to our dog, she couldn’t whip out the bed and water soon enough. Would definitely return and 100% recommend 10/10 ♥️

Beautiful apartment in a quiet non tourist area but only 3 minutes on the train into Lake Como area.Really great host who was so helpful.I would definitely stay here again but jump on the train to the lake for the tourist experience although we loved the peace of Borghi.The apartment is spotless and it was great having the supermarket across the road which has a lovely clothes shop and a chemist all in one place .The train station is five minutes away and buses are frequent to take you anywhere .

We were there for a family wedding which was nearby so was the perfect location. The building had been an old monastery which has been sympathetically and very tastefully renovated it was fantastic we had our own courtyard with loungers table and chairs, beautiful touches throughout can’t rate our stay highly enough 100%. What stood out was Luca himself he helped us enormously. We had a family dinner planned in the neighbouring town but found it impossible to get a taxi bearing in mind it was a Sunday and maybe not as many available even Luca tried but no luck so he took us in his car to the venue which I thought was amazing khe also helped to carry our luggage when we arrived and when we left very very helpful.5stars for the house and 6stars for the host.

Our second trip here (last summer was the first) and still amazing. A great place away from the tourist towns of Varenna and Bellagio...amazing view and mostly locals in the town of Perledo. The view alone is worth this AIRBNB a five star. Good size apartment with everything you need from the fluffy towels to the well equipped kitchen. Buses were really easy to navigate. Giancarlo and Andrea were great co-hosts reaching out often to make sure we had the best possible stay.

This place was the perfect place to stay if you want a beautiful view of the lake and to be in a quiet neighbourhood. There was pros and cons with the location (cons- trouble finding a taxi to and from the train station and not much in close walking distance & pros- beautiful view, right beside the C30 bus stop) but if you’re up for adventure and fully able bodied it’s worth it! We bought some groceries in Como after spending a the day there and had dinner one night in, walked down the stairs by the bus stop to the lake level for dinner at Ristorante Vapore sul Lago di Como and spent a day at the Lido di Faggeto Miamilaryo, which was a beautiful beach club with good food and drinks. The house was everything we needed and the view had us speechless the whole time. The hosts were quick to respond and help when we had questions. We would highly recommend this stay!

Absolutely wonderful stay 😊 the flat and the views are absolutely gorgeous!! In a quieter area of lake Como, but it is an absolute gem. Still plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance, and a little shop as well. There is a wonderful bar/cafe a 10 min walk down the lake front, which is the best place I’ve had my morning coffee. Musso will now be our base for future visits to Lake Como - there are few tourists but a 10 min drive to Menaggio where you can catch the ferry to Como, Bellagio and Varenna (among others). We didn’t go to Como, but Varenna and Bellagio were each a 15 min boat ride. Simone was extremely helpful with recommendations, and also when we extended our trip for a few days. You must catch the sunrise on the balcony - it is magical, as is the whole place! Plenty of parking, and a little beach right infront of the apartment. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be back. Friendly and helpful Paola was the perfect hostess. My sister and I were looking for peace and relaxation, and we really got it while sitting on the apartment balcony, surrounded by greenery and beauty, enjoying the magical evening sun. There is a lot to see and experience in the area. We returned home relaxed, with wonderful memories.

The accommodation is located above the village and therefore has a great view of Lake Como. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning but a fan is available and although we had 30 degrees during the day, you could ventilate well in the evening and also sleep well. The pool is large and surrounded by a lot of meadow. We arrived with a child and were able to relax well.

Marissa & Antonello were wonderful hosts for us staying in Milan for 5 days. Proactive communication from booking and gave us detailed instructions to get to their apartment from the train station. They then showed us around the apartment and complex so we could get around easily. They were always on hand to give us further information about the city & the apartment and left us enough amenities to last us for the duration of our stay. The apartment itself was very clean and modern with a peaceful environment from other residents. Would 100% stay here again if I come back to Milan.

The communication was perfect, Davide always responded super quickly and gave very detailed, helpful instructions. The flat was lovely, just perfect for two people. The flat is not located in a busy, buzzing place, like other some of the towns in Lake Como but we preferred that. We could walk to the ferry in Urio or Moltrasio and get around easily. Some gorgeous restaurants close by. Thank you Davide and Benedicta, we'd lvoe to come back one day :).

Great stay and location!! The only negative thing was the guests staying upstairs had 2 kids that were running and jumping around all day. Make sure you schedule your taxi’s in advance! We learned that hard way that you cannot call them last minute in the evening.

Had a great time at this apartment! The place is perfectly in line with the description: clean, well decorated and very well equipped. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the bathroom is impeccable.

A MUST BOOK! We had a dream of a stay in Fiona’s Tremezzo apartment. Fiona is the best host I’ve ever had on Airbnb, she was responsive, gave copious recommendations (all of which were fantastic) and make our check in and check out incredibly easy. The location is perfect to get to all the hot spots of Lake Como. We are avid walkers and walked daily to the Ferry (20/25 minute walk) but there are many ways to park close by. We went to La Darsena (beautiful views of the lake and decent price) & a gorgeous family restaurant named Antica Trattoria del Risorgimento. Both of these are recommended by Fiona. We also rented a boat at the local boat company that Fiona recommended. The apartment is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. My partner proposed to me on the balcony before the boat trip so this Airbnb will always have a special place in our hearts. The pool area is also lovely - especially on a hot day after sightseeing! Please book! You won’t regret it.
