Charming cottage in the woods. Host was very responsive. Can’t wait to stay again!

Our stay was glorious. Margaret is the most hospitable, generous, helpful, and kind host ever. Inside, it's the sweetest setup with everything anyone could possibly need, beautifully appointed, and also private, peaceful and comfortable. A delicious yogurt, granola, jam, and bread breakfast started each day. And then, to top it all off, we sat on the deck to absorb a flower garden you have to see to believe. Based on Margaret's recommendations, we feasted throughout Mendocino and explored the incredible local Botanical Gardens. We enjoyed it all, but Margaret and her Hummingbird Haven are the memories we'll treasure forever.

Weeklong getaway from the normal at home and work grind. Very relaxing, peaceful, and a beautiful location. Sitting outside in the afternoon sun with a cool onshore breeze rustling the trees was terrific. All of the amenities provided were exactly what you need, whether cooking and “living” there, or just a base camp from which to adventure. Bed was comfy, as were the various seating options. Diane and Bob were available as needed, but definitely not hovering. We enjoyed several conversations about the property, and local activities, otherwise we enjoyed the solitude offered.

This was the best Airbnb I've stayed at. The hosts really are great people and we felt welcomed from the get-go. They were always helpful and friendly. The property is lovely and spacious, both inside and out. It shows that the hosts put a lot of care and effort into creating a beautiful space. We felt at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We wish we were here longer, but we'll be back. :)
