Yorkshire Stone built private home

A beautiful stone built annex close to huddersfield town. Set back off main road. It is attached to a bungalow lived in, with private garden, parking, completely self contained with electric gates. Perfect for any commuting with good motorway access and public transport. A real home from home feel with its quiet location. A little mini manor in its own right, perfect for all needs. We do have a German shepherd dog, named Rex … very friendly, but he is a dog.. and does bark when outside with us.

A beautiful and private annex built on the grounds of my family home, close to the river. Along with river views, we are right next to the canal should you fancy a walk or a bike ride. Cycle rides, lovely walks, Italian restaurant, Indian restaurant, Coffee and Champagne bar, soft play area for the kiddies, National Coal Mining Museum, Hepworth Gallery, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the lovely town of Horbury. Easy access to the M1 and M62, the Island Annex is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Explore the beautiful Calder valley from this characterful grade II listed annex to Kilnhurst Old Hall, once the home of the author, artist and traveller William Holt. We have a comfy king-size bed in the lower bedroom, and two singles or a double on the mezzanine level above as you prefer, and a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. There are fantastic walks, loads of fascinting local history, independent shops and places to eat and drink. We have a safe space for cyclists to store bikes, too!

The Giraffe house, in the middle of everywhere, nestled in the valley surrounded by hills and sky. Clean, spacious and purpose-built that can accommodate two adults. We are also dog friendly (for one dog ) with a secure garden and parking. With its high ceiling, friends, exclaimed the room was tall enough to house giraffes and the nickname has stuck since!
