This place was amazing! So much more to do than just stay and sleep. It’s essentially a campsite with various buildings that contribute to the list of activities out there.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The airbnb was so clean and so nice! We enjoyed our stay and would love to make the trip back up and stay again!

The house and location were absolutely beautiful! It was spacious and homey. The private lake and fire pit were our favorite part! It was secluded which made for a nice little getaway. The home was equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We would definitely recommend.

Holley's place fit the description and photos exactly as presented. We were looking for a place that was relatively close to Notre Dame, and that allowed us to bring our dog. This place fit the bill. It was easy to find, clean, and as I said, fit the description and photos exactly. It was also a nice area to walk our dog. We were here in December and so we could not take advantage of the lake, but if you are here in summer, it's just a stone's throw away, and I imagine very nice. When you think about how much hotels in South Bend and even Elkhart charge on game days this was a no brainer. The price was solid and it was a relatively fast and easy drive from ND. I would definitely stay here again on another game weekend. Thank you Holley!

Stayed here for a friends wedding and it was the perfect spot! It was so peaceful in the morning. Such a great spot!

I highly recommend this stay! The house is very secluded and private, while still being close to activities. An orchard is within walking distance of the house, and the fresh picked strawberries were fantastic. The house itself felt just like home - extremely spacious, well put together and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, the living area has games and entertainment, and the outdoors has a great sitting area with beautiful views. The house is definitely worth staying at if visiting the Indiana Dunes or surrounding areas.

Eddy our host was the most communicative of all of our AirBnB experiences to date. We could rely on her prompt responses, helpful answers and good follow-up information. The Black Cabin was perfect for our meet up with our son, his wife and their animals (who loved the fenced-in backyard). In the kitchen we had all the appliances and cooking utensils we needed for cooking two dinners and a big breakfast. We loved the roomy refrigerator to fit the foods for our diverse dietary needs. We were grateful for the dishwasher and the washer/dryer as we were on our second week of vacation. We were able to completely relax in the lovely nature setting and we took some walks that led to benches overlooking a pond. We had a fire in the firepit and enjoyed the evening roasting marshmallows. We had no specific plans, but with the convenient access to Indiana Dunes National Parks, we went on 4 consecutive days exploring different parts of it. We all had a memorable time and 2 great dinners out!

The Chalet on the Lake—truly one of the most incredible places you’ll ever stay, maybe the best. No cabins—real chalets, classy and beautiful. I’ve stayed at top resorts all over, and this one is a total winner. Three amazing pools—huge, clean, perfect. The beach? Absolutely stunning. Peaceful, relaxing, not crowded—just the way we like it. The surroundings? Quiet, safe, truly beautiful. Feels like a private resort without the crazy prices. And it's just minutes from St. Joe’s, but without those outrageous St. Joe’s costs—so smart! Families loved it, kids loved it, I loved it. We’ll be back. Tremendous, 10 out of 10!

Upon booking I received an email describing the property and the expectations. The cabin was peaceful and we loved the fire pit. It was relaxing and we really enjoyed the wooded area it was in. The i side of the cabin was rustic and engaging. The living room was comfy and warm. All of the wineries and places to explore were right at our fingertips. Awesome location and gracious hosts. Highly recommend!

This place is a real gem! Wasn't expecting just how beautiful and serene it was.

The only thing that would have made it better was hot water in the bath house. Very rustic, but secluded and easy access to a lake with great fishing. Private, well maintained property. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed, and the location was perfect: close to beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and local attractions.
