We really enjoyed our stay at Cuckoo Barn. Roz was very welcoming and the cottage was lovely and comfortable, very clean and had all the necessities we needed. The view and location were great with a lovely walk very close by. Especially liked the log burner and the very comfy bed. We hope to return and highly recommend.

Great spot with all the basics needed for a short stay

For people who like nature and hiking this is a jam! Easy to get there from London either going to Lewes (30 min walk) or Brighton (3-4h hike with great views). The sauna is the cherry on top after a long day out in the nature. Sian was very friendly and welcoming, and gave us plenty of suggestions. The hut is cozy with comfortable bed and good board game selection for late evenings. Local people are very friendly and it is lovely to walk to the nearby pubs along the hiking path. We highly recommend to visit The Abergaveny Arms, food is something else! Also Off the Wagon pop up pub is great. We will definitely come back.

The satnav directed me to the wrong house, the house is on the corner with Beechmont ave. Once I found the house it was really easy to get in following the instructions and I was really happy with it. Thank you.

The Bothy is an amazing space in a fantastic location. Quiet, tranquil and definitely off-grid. Helena was a welcoming, friendly and helpful host who provided everything we needed. The Bothy is beautifully appointed and very relaxing to inhabit. There are many places to visit locally if you can tear yourself away. This place is absolutely ideal for people looking to get away from it all. It is described as "off-grid" and it is - so make sure you take fully-charged power banks. We will definitely return!

Me and my partner had a wonderful mid-week retreat at Tracy’s Annex! Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, the place was just lovely. We had access to the hot tub and the heated pool which was just amazing! It felt totally private, we were never disturbed but always just a message away if we needed anything- Tracy has some fab recommendations and knows the area so well. The walks around are beautiful and the wildlife we saw was brilliant! There’s so much I could say but my real highlight was Tracy’s 2 golden labs, they’ll come and say hello when out in the garden and they are such love bugs! Totally made my day as a dog lover! Would stay again and would recommend to others. X

We were looking for something peaceful and quiet and full of countryside atmosphere and found it here. The Lodge is just beautiful, with everything you would need for a peaceful getaway. Tanya was very friendly and helpful, recommended a few places like The Unicorn pub, which was a delight. The English countryside is second to none

I wanted to book a night away for my birthday meeting up with my daughter. I came across Seascape and immediately thought it would be ideal. We were not disappointed. Stunning location and beautifully kept. The weather was very warm and there was a air conditioning unit which was a god send. I will hopefully be able to return again

The picture palace is a lovely little art oasis. It is quite amazing looking internally, with a beautiful aspect out through the huge windows. Loved the private garden, and the sauna with outdoor shower just topped off a great stay.

I enjoy staying in places with a character and Rhubarb and Custard definitely has it. What a little gem it is! My daughters loved it and said it had 'Paddington in Peru" vibe. It is compact, but has everything you might need to have a comfortable stay. Having the sea on the doorstep and access to beach gear is a big plus too, especially in summer. Elise is a wonderful and friendly host and would always promptly reply to messages. I will definitely recommend Rhubarb and Custard to friends looking for a special getaway.

Amy and Victoria were great hosts very proactive and friendly and the Tiny House was superb to stay in for our 3 nights in Brighton. Highly recommended and will definitely go back and stay here again. If you haven’t been yet do it.

What a beautiful little shepherd hut just a shame we were called away a day early would’ve liked to have stayed the full-time would recommend to stay if you are in the area

Pigeon hole hut is nested in a small pocket of birch woodland surrounded by green glades and views of the lake. The hut its self is cosy and beautifully crafted. Just the right balance of rustic charm with all your creature comforts. Everything has been thoughtfully considered. The setting is breathtaking. Fields of wild meadow flowers, orchards, vineyards and many enchanting gardens. All beautifully maintained and yet also loved. We felt so at home, relaxed and welcomed into these spaces by the family’s generosity to share so much of their estate with us. It’s an immersive and unforgettable experience. The indoor spaces are spectacular, the games room has everything you need for a rainy day and is located near the winery, which oozes with the families passion for all things Italian and wine making. The swimming pool is large and inviting with a pool swing no less and the facilities to match those of any spa. My daughter and I had the most magical and memorable stay. We will be back!

Exceeded expectations by miles. The character of this lovely little place is just amazing. Love all the little different outside seating areas, the bar area has been done lovely. Beds were comfy and clean, signal was also very good, we got to connect to the television for Netflix. We didn’t cook but had all the amenities to. Doing our own fire was also lovely as they have an excellent fire pit with lots of wood and twigs to make one with. Lovely secluded location, we saw deer in the field opposite, the lake with the ducks were a lovely extra nature touch. We will be back!

The cabin is wonderful. It was comfortable, cosy, clean and exactly as described on the App. The outside area was perfect with excellent views, great garden furniture and a lovely place to relax into the evening. Added touches, like the curtains being closed and the fan being on when we arrived to keep the cabin cool, were really nice as it was an extremely hot couple of days/nights. The chicken eggs left and then topped up in the fridge were delicious. Anna’s communication was spot on from start to end of the booking process and our stay. We would thoroughly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. It’s a real gem.

Mickaellas place is amazing - one of the best spots we’ve staid in. We loved sitting outside near the lake and watching the wildlife. We saw: woodpeckers, squirrels, finches, heron as well as dicks and geese. The apartment has everything we needed. We told Mickaella that we were vegan and didn’t need to leave any food like some hosts do, but we went above and beyond by leaving us: oat milk, vegan biscuits, apples, bubbly and even a vegan afternoon tea! There are lots of places near by to explore, we can recommend Royal Leamington Spa and Brighton which is only an hour away! Highly recommended you book Mickaella’s place 🙂
