Holiday rentals with beach access in Middle Bass Island

We had a great stay at Kevin's place! It was clean, was in a great area and the town is very well maintained and enjoyable. He also had some nice extras like games and beach towels we were able to take advantage of. I also needed some chiropractic care during our stay, and he helped me out immensely! I found myself very grateful and fortunate to stay right above his business! We had a great time and would definitely stay again. 😀

We stayed at the condo for the weekend and had a great experience! The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The view was absolutely stunning—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. Lisa was a fantastic host—very communicative and quick to respond to any questions. I really appreciated how easy and smooth everything was. Would definitely stay here again!

It was as advertised, very clean and taken care of. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend for anyone looking to spend time in the area.

A cozy condo right on Portage river with a beautiful view. The home was very clean and looked exactly as pictured. My kids enjoyed the pool, the hot tub looked nice, though we did not try it. They have all the necessities at the condo (even the beach towels!), and the kitchen is well-equipped. Jeff & Kerri responded to all of our messages very quickly, and provided some great suggestions, they are super friendly hosts! The location is also great - just a short walk to Jet Express, Coffee Express, and Lake Erie. The Waterworks Park nearby was amazing for a picnic, bird watching, sunset on the lake, and the view of the lighthouse.

Shelley and her husband are enthusiastic, kind hosts who love the lakeside town they are in. They have created a comfortable place to enjoy all that this lakeside area has to offer. Delicious breakfast and easy access to coffee and tea and plenty of places to sit inside and outside!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was comfortable, peaceful, had a great view and was walkable to great food, coffee and entertainment. The amenities were also great!

Perfect location if you’re planning to hit the jet express to put n bay! We were able to walk everywhere. The place was very clean and the perfect layout for us! Definitely coming back next year!

Cassie's place has just recently been redecorated. It's not only beautifully decorated, but had everything my daughter and I needed for a comfortable and cozy stay. She was very responsive to my questions. It's also at the heart of all the shopping, restaurants and entertainment, which was a wonderful bonus! I would whole-heartedly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Lakeside!

Very clean and close to the beach. Lots to do in and around the area. 32 minutes from Cedar Point. Fit our family of six perfectly with room to spare. The train system in the area is quite busy but they did not blow their horn thankfully. Would definitely rent here again.

Joni’s place was perfect for what we were looking for! The place was very spacious - with the 1st double queen room being inside the front door, and the rest of the bedrooms upstairs. It wasn’t right downtown, but it was near the ferry which was perfect for us. Theres golf carts available on-site which is what we used to get downtown. The staff on site was very helpful. Joni sent detailed instructions leading up to our stay and was available during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed in this exact cottage as a kid and into my teen years (before the back space with w/d and extra bathroom was added). It has since changed owners many times, but man, I wish Brian had had this property all along! Fantastically helpful, check in and check out was a breeze, the place is equipped for everything you need to have fun as a fam (bikes, tennis rackets, scooters, pickleball paddles ...), the space was super functional, and the location is *chef's kiss*. No notes! 10/10. I can't wait for 2026 availability to drop so we can book 423 Cherry again (for the 21st summer!!).

I would recommend the place to everyone. It was nothing but a pleasure to stay there. Oh, and the beds were awesome.

Kitchen well stocked. Very roomy kitchen/dining/living room setup. The large kitchen island was a great place for everyone to hang out at. Place was very easy to find and only minutes away from some very good restaurant’s. All the rooms and bathrooms were very clean.

Joan’s place was very comfortable! It was central to many of the locations we were wanting to visit. It was very clean and organized. Our dog, Lilly really liked it! She had lots of area to explore. Would rent again!

What a charming house, and it couldn't get closer to the water without being a houseboat! The furniture was comfortable, but the views were the real star here. We loved sitting in the sun room at night playing cards while watching the lake. Also Alex was great to communicate with and very friendly and helpful. I hope we'll make it back to stay again sometime!

SO BEAUTIFUL! The radio on the wall was a unique addition that blew my mind. We found out that we didn’t have hot water the next morning but the hosts got it fixed by the time we got back later that day. Good hosts and great apartment.

Perfect location for a weekend getaway. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Condo had great views of the lake and had easy access to restaurants, downtown, and the ferry. Great location for kids with a nice beach, pool, and lots of room to run and play.

This was the absolute perfect location, price and amenities we could have hoped for! LOVED that the beach, pool & playground was a 3min walk (with little kids!) Beach was small but perfect. Pool was amazing because of the odd design it allowed areas for “kids” to play and splash but also a big enough area for older folks to do laps and relax. Loved that the pool also had shallow part for kids to walk into / sit. Thank you for the Ice-Cream store recommendation - The Ice Shanty. Was VERY close , affordable and AMAZING! A must for the family. Jessica - thank you for opening your amazing home , a little home away from home. Was more than we could have hoped and expected. Kids LOVED waking up seeing the sunrise. We would absolutely love to visit here again!!

My daughter and I enjoyed our weekend away and this condo was perfect! The views were awesome and peaceful. Loved the private beach to sit and read. Restaurants were within walking distance so didn't even have to get in the car!

Sara’s place was perfect for my family and our short stay in Sandusky for a gymnastics meet and quick trip to Cedar Point. Perfect first floor location with easy check in and out. Spotless and clean with everything we needed for quick breakfasts cooked in the kitchen. Loved having the small appliances and KCups provided as well as the washer and dryer available for use. Host was extremely responsive to questions and everything was easy to understand. There were a few very minor easily fixed issues that were responded to by the host and will be remedied. The cleanliness, easy in and out of the unit and responsiveness of the host overcame by far these small inconveniences. Would book again!

Tim was amazing to work with. We totally enjoyed our stay. Tim was very responsive and helpful during our visit. I highly recommend staying at this location. Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable accommodations. Tim went out of his way to make our stay very comfortable. We will definitely be back.
