You will enjoy the rural charm of a small town off the main road that will take you straight into Waco if you go West 40 minutes or Corsicana if you go East 30 minutes. The Firefly is 1.15 hours away from Dallas, Texas. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot, we welcome you to the Firefly.

On property we have a canoe and kayaks for rent, corn-hole & a 122’ fishing pier. Coffee and bathroom items are provided. There is a clubhouse & 5 other cabins for rent on the property if you are looking for a special occasion destination at The Chrestos - Cottages on the Cove. The home is fully stocked so all you need is clothing and food.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.
