Holiday rentals with a kayak in Minneapolis

Our group of ladies traveled from all over the US to spend a long weekend together. We were absolutely charmed by the mid-century modern home the owners have cultivated. This home had a fabulous fully stocked kitchen which we made good use of throughout our stay. The living spaces were amazing, and we enjoyed each of the rooms throughout the weekend. The entry level living room was a haven for reading and enjoying the lake views or taking a nap on the lovely chaise lounge, the dining and family rooms were a primary gathering spot for reading, playing games and talking and catching up. The media room offered plenty of space for our group to listen to music (we had a pianist with us). The photographs of the outdoor deck don’t give it justice on how large it is with 3 distinct seating areas. The weather only permitted us to use the outdoor space one of the days of our trip. The home is well maintained, very close to an amazing trail for hiking, biking or running and the dock looks new.

Kelly’s place was perfect for our needs. The two living areas gave us plenty of room to spread out, which made the stay especially comfortable. The view of the pond was peaceful and beautiful—a lovely backdrop. Everything we needed was provided, and the space was clean, cozy, and well-appointed. The workspace was also ideal for a member of our group. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return!

We decided on Stillwater as a fun place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our two kids from Oregon and Colorado. We were specifically looking for a place that was in a beautiful setting near water. Bryan's listing was a perfect match! We loved watching the birds at the feeders, enjoyed time on the patio and enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening. Lots of large windows let us gaze at the incredible view of the lake. We invited a few local friends and family to join us for an anniversary open house and Byran put extra leaves in the dining table and got out folding chairs for our guests before we arrived. Kitchen fully stocked, numerous cozy sitting areas, screened sunroom, games, linens exceptional, lovely back yard at lake with kayaks, life jackets, pool table. This home fulfilled everything we could have asked for. Great communication

We had a great stay for graduation weekend!! The house is spacious and easily accommodated our group of 7. The location is fantastic — a lake and walking/running trail is just across the street. Some of the furniture is a bit dated and we would have appreciated a king bed in the primary suite, rather than 2 full size beds. But I get trying to maximize the beds in the houses otherwise all was perfect! Kitchen was well equipped and easy to use, laundry available and communication with William was easy and very responsive. I’m not sure I’ll be back in St Paul again, but if I am I would definitely stay again!

So much better than a hotel - my family put together a puzzle, had a fire by the lake, played games with laughter and privacy, Grampa took a nap on the screen porch, money saved by cooking and had fun doing it in a kitchen ready for anything! Everything we needed was there and more- plus labels made even light switches clear at first glance! The best comment was - "I could stay here a week!" - and the photos will be memory keepers of birds in the trees and deer across the lake and mostly my family caring for one another.

This is an awesome getaway on the river, the house exceeds expectations and is amazing for hosting a large group! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate for our weekend, there are more than enough amenities for a cozy indoor experience and of course we enjoyed the hot tub! It’s a beautiful place and Brian was very helpful and quick to respond to communication. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a serene and luxurious retreat and gathering space!

This home was in a lovely setting. We enjoyed walking around the camp as well as sitting at one of the numerous outdoor tables and watching wildlife and scenery. The Garden House is spacious and was just perfect for our group of four friends for a retreat!

We loved staying in the St. Francis Cottage! It was so peaceful - we enjoyed both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. We jad everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The grounds are great for walking and enjoying nature and it was a very short drive to scenic overlooks and downtown Stillwater. It was a perfect getaway!

Great space for an extended family stay. Enjoyed the great patio spaces, beautiful lake with kayak, well appointed kitchen, and large dining table and living room. Main floor was very accessible for family with a walker and they were able to navigate the few steps to the main patio too, but would be nice to have the main bathroom shower upgraded some day to be a more accessible walk in shower (there is a walk in shower upstairs). Host/brother very responsive to a few questions that came up.

Very cute interior; lots of extra supplies in case we forgot anything. Loved the bathroom!! Quiet; beds were comfortable & nice to have 2 TV’s as my husband & I have different tastes. The only tiny negative is the yard - not really any grassy area for our little dog, but she didn’t mind walking down the block.

This was a fabulous place to stay - just the right size for two, and very cozy - while friends did their own rustic cabin camping in nearby William O'Brien! A side-channel of the St. Croix River is just out the door, with a short hiking trail through the nearby woods, and birds singing their spring songs. It was just what we needed for a quiet respite.

It was a beautiful and relaxing time!

Great location not to far from the twin cities. It was great that there were kayaks and a canoe there for us to use free of charge. Also, there were instructions for using all of the necessities in the home, like the hot tub, fireplace, etc. Thanks for a great, relaxing weekend!

AMAZING cabin. We had a family get away for a couple nights and didn’t want to leave! Great running trails, fishing, comfortable and beautiful home. The fall colors were breathtaking. Tricia was a great host! We really hope that we can come back soon!

The Cozy Cabin was the perfect oasis to have down time from a full weekend of activities visiting family and friends from out of town. We loved sitting by the bonfire each night! Definitely would recommend and hope to visit again!

We had such a great time at this cabin! We felt at home immediately and there was something for all of us to do at any given point. From the comfy couch to the dock where endless hours were spent by our kids casting a line- we had just the most enjoyable visit!
